  1. Just wanted to let yall know that at the end i did not try the weight gainer. I just made my own homemade weight gainer, no acne breakouts, and it helped me to put on a lil bit of weight, but im starting to give up on my mission. Not lack of will, i just like being skinny fit, and while it may be a problem when playing basketball at my level, it has a lot of benefits, clothes fit me well and girls like skinny boys, so its all good. And while i may have trouble playing defense against bigger
  2. 4 months without doxy, still no acne. I will stop posting in this forum, since it doesnt make sense to log in every month to say that i dont have acne, red marks still an issue though. Thanks for reading this post, and good luck to all of you who are on their grind for clear skin.
  3. 3 months have passed since i stopped the doxy. I havent had a pimple in 2 months or something like that, so im pretty happy with my skin obviously, though red marks are still there. I've been in spain for the last couple of weeks, very hot, lots of sun, bad diet (due to the fact that im eating in restaurants and etc), yet my skin stays perfect. The only thing im doing is using topical erythromycin one day on - one day off.
  4. Thanks for the information, the other post about calorie dense healthy foods was very useful. Do you know if peanut butter is inflammatory? I know that is very calorie dense, but i always thought butters were bad for acne .
  5. Everyday i count how many calories i eat, its always near 3400-3500. But for me its very hard to gain weight, i gotta have the fastest metabolism on earth. Before having acne i used to eat very poorly, lots of unhealthy fats, lots of simple carbs, yet i've always been skinny and ripped. I could eat everyday at mcdonals and dinner every night at burguer king and i would still have a 6-pack. It may sound good to some people, but it's a nightmare when you need to put on some weight and there's no w
  6. Yes. That. Yes. That. Why don't you always eat the whole egg? Because i always crack the egg badly and eggshell ends up in the milk, plus i dont like the texture of the yolk when drinking it. Also in the mornings before going to class is easier to just open a bottle and pour some egg white in the milk than having to clean an egg, then crack it and remove bits of eggshell
  7. I eat the whole egg usually, i meant that in the mornings i drink a glass of milk as part of my breakfast, and i put on it a pair of egg whites because i have a bottle of egg whites and i dont have to crack the eggs and etc. When eating omelettes, boiled eggs etc. i do eat the whole egg. Sorry i expressed myself bad.
  8. I know a weight gainer may make me break out, but i think i really need one, im always been on the skinny side due to my metabolism, so im several ocasions i have tryed diets with lots of calories combined with working out and etc, but my metabolism makes it almost impossible for me to gain weight. I don't think i'll have to take creatine or that kind of suplemments, i don't want to become huge. At 6'1 (average in my country is near 6'3 and last year i was 5'11) i have always been a small guy,
  9. You are right, i didn't think about sugar free products having another sweeteners which may affect acne. I guess i will have to check out all the ingredients in the weight gainer and not worry only about if it is sugar free
  10. My acne started about 9 months ago, so i don't think my hormones have settled down . But maybe the antibiotics i took have eliminated my acne. Lately i've been eating food bad for acne because im doing exams and im eating in college, yet i havent had any break out, so who knows I think i will try hemp protein since its antiinflammatory and wont hurt my acne, or at least wont hurt my acne as much as whey protein. I'll try to keep my acne-free diet, but i think that if i want to gain weight i
  11. Thanks for your advice. I guess as you said that in order to gain muscle i'll have to have a little fuck-it attitude with the diet and the acne, but somehow being clear is more important to me than adding pounds. I may only try to gain 10 pounds instead of 20 if thats better to my skin. Thanks also for the information about exercises, the coaching staff and the people at the gym already told me what to do, but if i have any question i'll post it here, it seems like you are experienced in gainin
  12. I like the hemp protein from Nutiva. It is unflavored and organic, so you will need to be a little creative to make it taste good. I like to do hemp protein, almond milk, unprocessed cocoa powder, ground pumpkin seeds, and a little Stevia to sweeten. I am the exact same way, low BF% but relatively small. Keep in mind the only way you'll gain weight, fat or muscle, is to have a caloric surplus, so the basketball and swimming are hurting your weight gain efforts in that sense. You'll have to t
  13. Yes, im talking about powdered shakes to help me gain weight, but even though i havent had any outbreaks since 3 months ago, im afraid a weight gainer may make me break out. Im looking for weight gainers for diabetic people, because since they have no sugar i guess they would be more "safe" for an acne prone person. I have read some of your post in the past and it seems like you are an expert on alimentation, do you know about any high calorie diet that would help me gain weight without breaki
  14. Thank you very much for answering, i'll search for hemp protein, because dairy breaks me out so i wont take a risk with whey protein. I know most weight gainers are loaded with inflammatory ingredients, so i may buy one for diabetic people, like naturade sugar free weight gainer, but i think it'll be very difficult to find where i live. Im on an anti-acne diet, i eat lots of chicken, turkey, fish, foods high in omega-3, extra virgin olive oil, etc. But due to my metabolism i find it very hard
