  1. There are many different types you can find that may work best for you but I think the best thing would be to try them out as what works for some may not work for you. I used a simple brand from wholefoods without copper and it was okay at first but then I noticed it caused me nausea. eeek! So instead of taking Zinc, my holistic acne clinic recommended I switched to Zyflammend. It is not zinc. But it is a more natural supplement that just like Zinc, can help reduce inflammation and it does not g
  2. You may want to try other types of probiotics? Like eating them instead of taking a supplement? I like to drink probiotic drinks : ) I also had to stop one of my supplements because it gave me pretty bad nausea. It was my Zinc supp. Eekk. But i switched ti Zyflammend. It's not a Zinc supplement, but like Zinc it helps for inflammation.
  3. Be careful with that concealer as it can definitely be super cloggy since its soooo thick. There is a new concealer I have been trying and so far I am LOVING! It's the Tarte amazonian concealer stick. The one in the little purple metal tube/stick. I like that it has good ingredients! didn't really find any cloggy one. Check it out! : )
  4. I'm kinda wondering the same as i stuffed my face this weekend. More like.. i just had some coconut milk mint chip ice cream.. WAH!! I take probiotics so my body can digest better, also take an anti-inflammatory supplement. Idk if that may actually help much from sugar to take over and just give massive inflamed pimps.
  5. Ever since a blemish or two would leave my face, a scar or two would decide to stay. I noticed all types of scaring on my face as my acne would clear up, but as the acne would come back again, the scars weren't as visible. Just the biggo bumps. Now after a long journey my skin is a little over 90% clear.. or more like I have been keeping some acne under control.. and when I have a new zit, I know exactly why he's there.. and then of course a new scar decides to hang out with the rest. AHH!!
  6. Hi Daniela! I'm sorry you are going through a frustrating situation with your skin right now. I know how it feels when you are trying many many things and they just don't seem to work. I felt so depressed at one point.. but don't get discouraged. I'm sure it will be okay! You are young and the cause of your acne can actually be due to other reasons. The first thing I would recommend you is to relax. Try to not stress so much about this or anything else there might be going on around you. Defi

  9. Hello, I've heard a couple of good things about that foundation and based on YOUR skin type I think you are the only judge testing it out on your self. Since its a liquid foundation you do want to make sure to take everything off. Even if a foundation is "non comedogenic" it can still clog your pores if there are any residues. I recommend toning your face after washing. I always get some make up left over when I know I'm not taking it all off. Let me know how its working for you. You can actu

  11. A lot of people here in the forum have asked for recommendations on a good mineral foundation or any make up for acne. However there really isn't such thing. And the existing ones usually contain a small amount of salycilic acid along with a whole bunch of other crappy ingredients that can break you out in the long run. Here are some brands I recommend as they are 100% acne safe and free of cloggy ingredients. Hope you guys give them a try! - Tarte BB cream (light coverage, yet it helps
  12. 100 % Recommend ALIMA pure. It was recommended by my holistic acne clinic. Does not break me out as it is an acne safe foundation. Yay!! : )
  13. Best advice is to actually stay away from the chap drugstore make up. I highly recommend the bb cream from tarte (the clear one with the wooden cap) and i set it with the alima pure foundation powder. Yay for acne safe make up!! May not look as caked up as the R.C.S but definitely safe to use and your skin will thank you. : )
  14. DIET: Being in an acne safe diet means cutting certain foods from your every day diet. Give it a period of 35 days to up to 3 months to see this truly works for you. But trust me, give it a real fair shot! NO: Dairy, Coffee (yes coffee!!), gluten, sugary drinks, alcohol, sugar (cut it out), seaweed, turkey, shrimp, and SOY (yes even soy milk, so no more soy lattes please. Make your self a favor and get more involved into cooking rather than eating out. Restaurants tend to use a ton of che

  16. Have you consider a juice cleanse? I did three days followed by eating everything i blended the next 2/3 days and slowly eating my regular foods. No dairy, no gluten, no soy though. Lemon water in the am is a must : ) really helpful!
