  1. Hi everyone, I've been on the pill for hormonal cystic acne, and have been contemplating on going off them. The last time I stopped, my cystic acne came back after a couple of months and am afraid of having a major breakout if I stop this time. I was wondering if anyone has been in the same boat, and how I can go about preventing cystic breakouts. I am considering on seeing a naturopath to find an alternative to the pill...there's also the acne.org Regimen (which I'm not sure if it'll h

  3. Hi, I've used Paula's Choice products before and although they may look like simple products, they were amazing. The BP saved me from teenage acne back in high school, it's like a watery gel consistency and absorbs pretty quickly. I haven't tried acne.org's BP yet, so I can't compare the two, but thought I'd give my input.
  4. Hi, I just wanted to know what your experience was like with the Regimen. What type of acne do you get? I'm wondering if it will help hormonal acne (cysts along jawline, cheeks and chin). The doc recommended Accutane, but I'm trying to avoid having to take it due to all the side effects. Thanks
  5. Hi, How much did it cost for shipping to Canada?
  6. Hi Victoria93, Have you been using the Regimen? How is your progress so far? Are you still on BC while on the Reg.
  7. Hi, I'm thinking of trying the Regimen before trying out Accutane (which I'm really afraid of). Did you ever try just using the Regimen on its own to control your acne without bc pills to see if your skin would still remain clear? I'm wondering if it would work for my cystic acne without BCP.
  8. Hello, thanks for the reply. Does she suffer from cystic acne? (that's the type of acne I have and although the Regimen has great reviews, I'm skeptical about it working for my skin).
  9. Hello! I'm considering on trying either acne.org's Regimen or Accutane. I was leaning towards Accutane, but because of the many side effects (and the fact that I already have problems with very dry eyes and dry mouth), I want to exhaust other options before considering it again. the Regimen vs Accutane...please let me know your experiences with either (or if you have tried both)!
  10. Hello, I've battled acne for many years now - from teenage acne to adult cystic acne. I currently suffer from cysts along my cheeks, chin and jawline. The only things that worked for my skin were Benzoyl peroxide (in high school) and the pill (adult acne)...however, after a year or so of coming off the pill, I decided to try again because my skin was just out of control. Unfortunately, the pill no longer works for me. I am still breaking out. The doc suggested for me to try Accutane. I'
  11. Thanks for the reply, Have you tried Accutane before? If so, what were the side effects during and post-accutane?
  12. Hi, I'm sorry for asking the dreaded question but I've been on the fence for way too long and need all the advice I can get on Accutane. 13. Thank you very much for all your advice!
  14. I've tried saw palmetto but it broke out my face like crazy and i had to stop. how is spironolactone? what are the side effects? is it safer than BCP for long-term use? I have extremely greasy/oily skin (which is another reason why im considering accutane which is supposed to help with the overactive sebaceous glands)
