So now my skin is really starting to shed. Everyday I have very dry skin that fall off after I take a shower. Underneath is smooth and soft skin. I'm happy so far

Writing in bunches now, since there isn't much to really talk about. Few acne here and there nothing crazy. If you are thinking about Accutance I would recommend it so far. Side effects are not bad at 20mg per day and you don't really have too much to worry about. Plus I do feel like the acne under my skin is slowly going away.

Face is pretty much clear. Don't have any side effects. I actually was able to go out and party with friends and take some shots too!

So I've gotten kinda lazy since I don't really have any motivation of keeping this log... But anyways no side effects even the dry skin is becoming tolerable. Enjoying my last few days at college before I leave for London!! Face is clear, but I still don't think the drug has kicked in.

I'm taking 20mg too. Although my face has cleared I still feel like the accutane hasn't kicked in yet. I'm on day 12 now.

Same side effects as the day before. I drank two beers today to see if alcohol and accutane react negatively (no negative effect). Still don't recommend drinking in any way on this drug. I just was trying it out since I am at college and my 21st birthday is coming up (starting slow).

I still have very dry skin and it is now becoming a little flaky. Nothing lotion can't stop. Spent the day watching the NCAA tourney and studying.

I'm just on day 7 lol. Keep us posted on how things go. Good luck!

Another spectacular day of college classes and no major side effects. I may just be getting used to all of the symptoms. I have noticed that I am slowly becoming sensitive to light and my skin does take a little longer to heal another side effect I guess. I really hope this treatment kicks in soon. I am going to London on April 15th and would love to have clear skin by then. Keeping my fingers crossed! My Treatment: -20 mg Claravis once a day -Wash my face with Clean & Clear was

Congratulations! I'm glad at least someone is reading my posts. After I started last week I found out that the dry skin is really hard to deal with, so I went and got a Clean & Clear face wash and Clean & Clear lotion that prevents acne. I'm sure you can find both of these at a local Walgreens. I also would recommend getting some type of eye drops. The dry eyes can be pretty bad at times. I have contacts, so I end up just using contact solution, which works well for me. Other tha

I was really sleepy today. Almost decided to skip my morning class. Other than that just dry skin and I have to drink a lot of water. Since I didn't mention this earlier I thought that I would make it clear. I am 5'7 and I weigh 130 lbs. I am on Claravis 20mg once a day. Hope this helps!

I really appreciate all of the people who have documented their treatment. It helped me take the next step. I am going to try to do the same with my log. Feel free to ask me any questions!

So far so good. The dry skin is not too bad. The other major side effect to worry about is dry eyes. Since I wear contacts this is something that is really important for me. I have mild acne so I have not really seen much of a break out (I hope I don't have one). Feel free to ask me any questions!
