  1. I have a large beauty mark on my right cheek. I've been on the regimen for almost two years now and it's never been a problem...sometimes I'll get dry skin from the BP and the beauty mark will flake off regular dead skin like any other part of my face. I've never even tried to smooth BP around it, I've just slathered it on like I do the rest of my cheek. So go for it. Good luck.
  2. I'm very intrigued...I've been copycatting so to speak and been eating the same way for about two weeks now. Not so much for my skin...mostly my health. I get super tired and bad mood swings from sugar, dairy, etc. and never had the guts to go 'cold turkey' so to speak. I have WAY more energy (great for running around after my three-year old)! And I haven't been nearly as grumpy... We'll just have to wait and see if it helps my skin...btw...I've been on the regimen for nearly two years now and
  3. I've started with three drops mixed in with my cetaphil SPF15 moisturizer and noticed a huge difference...no flakes...but even better than that it has actually made my skin less oily. I am the queen of oily skin and when I use BP twice a day in a very dry climate, my skin goes into overcompensation mode and the oil just seems to seep from my skin... The jojoba oil is tricking my skin into calming down and I have a nice normal shine like I used to back before I started using BP instead of my us
  4. This is normal...not sure why, but I've been on the Regimen for about a year and a half and I still get the odd day where I just have a huge urge to scratch my face...hehe...I never give in cause I have a strict rule about not touching my face. As long as your skin looks fine I wouldn't worry about it. Good luck.
  5. I've used Dove for a long time...I like it cause it's inexpensive...I find it difficult to spend $10+ on cleanser when my skin is not that sensitive. Dove has never caused me any breakouts. I've been on the Regimen for about a year and a half. Hope that helps. Good luck.
  6. If you're gonna be doing that for the rest of your days, why don't you get it lasered so it doesn't grow back again? I'm sure your skin would look bad for a week or so (that's a guess) from the lasering, maybe even less... it's better than a big breakout every couple of weeks for the rest of your life though isn't it? Yeah, that would make much more sense, but I've never done it due to cost. I just can't seem to justify a big purchase like that when I work part-time and have a family. I alr
  7. Yep, I agree. My Mum is 45 and still has acne...her and I are the same for everything. Same body type, same pregnancies, etc. Not to say this applies for everyone, but I will NOT be quitting the regimen anytime soon.
  8. Us girls suffer too in a roundabout way. I wax a lot of my face as I am cursed with really pale skin and really dark hair. So, yeah, I wax about every 3 weeks (my chin, my lip and the sides of my face) and within two days I breakout pretty bad. It's a tradeoff so I don't look like a hairy beast...nothing worse than a pretty girl with a mustache. Hair removal in general is not conducive to acne-free skin. Good luck, gentlemen.
  9. Awesome! Your skin looks great and no one deserves it more than a handsome BC boy...Damn I miss home.
  10. Hey All! Check these oil absorbing sheets out...they work great and they're only $1. It's a makeup site where they sell everything for $1. I haven't been able to find sheets at the drugstore or anywhere else for that matter under $10... Here's the link: shine eraser sheets Hope that helps...their shipping is really fast too.
  11. Humidity sucks, but try very hard not to wash your face more than twice a day. Even with all that moisture in the air you will overdry your skin and cause yourself all sorts of problems possibly even more breakouts. Good luck.
  12. Most likely it's due to the fact your skin is dry because of the BP so your skin goes into to overdrive and produces more oil to compensate. Believe it or not if you moisturize more it will balance out your skin and it will stop pumping out so much oil. Good luck.
  13. I didn't fully clear till 5 months in. I had a breakout in month 3 just like you...so hang in there! Good luck.
  14. I would say you can't use too much. When I first started the regimen it was the middle of winter and I live in one of the driest parts of the country in Canada. It was horrid. I took my moisturizer in my purse with me everywhere and would reapply anywhere from 3 - 8 times a day (washing my hands first of course). It never caused me to break out. So pile er on, mate! Just my 2 cents worths. Good luck. 2 cents WORTH...I can't spell today...hehe...
  15. I started the regimen in February of 2005. I use Dan's CSR gel in the morning and at night. My acne was quite mild to begin with but very annoying. Now it's all good. Before After
