  1. Hi, I'm a 17-year-old gay male, and I have acne. I'm hoping to be in a relationship someday, but I'm wondering how my acne will affect this. I'm curious if there are any other gay guys on these boards who would be willing to share their stories of having acne and their relationship adventures, especially how acne has affected their self-esteem. Thanks!
  2. Hi, I don't know how common this problem is but I'd like some help in any case. I have prescription contact lenses that improve my vision considerably, but I'm afraid of wearing them because it feels like my acne will be more exposed to everyone. I'm very OCD about how people see me and how I look in public. I've been wearing my glasses for the past few months as a sort of safety net because I feel it helps hide my acne, but I know I should really be wearing my contacts. Can anyone help me, mayb
  3. Hi, I have an acne pustule on my chin along with spots of cystic acne. This has become very annoying and I really want it to go away, pustules like this usually form cysts in two to five days with me. 5. I recently had acne pustules appear on my chin and I was hoping to figure out a way to get rid of them -- hopefully as soon as possible because I'm very self-conscious about how I look and how others see me. I've been washing my face two, three times each day w/ soap, using Aida Grey Special Pore Cleanser after I shower, and applying 10% BP every night. Am I doing the right thing or is there something else I should do? Photo (sorry it's flipped, it looks fine on my computer but comes ou
  6. (Yes I know, never pop cystic acne, I've learned my lesson) This morning I couldn't take it anymore and popped a cystic acne on my nose, now it's all red and somewhat flaky (not raised). What can I do to make this go away? I've heard everything from Neosporin to BP but decided to make my own post because I'd really like to get an answer for my own situation. I know this pales in comparison to some of the other horror stories I've seen on these boards, but any help is appreciated -- I'm going ba
