  1. Hmm...never really thought about that. I've heard about the location of your acne being an indication of what may be a problem (on the inside), so I'll look into that.
  2. I have always had dry skin, even before I started using acne products. I've been using the DKR cleanser for about 2 months now, and I feel like it's drying me out. I know that a cleanser's purpose is only meant to cleanse, but with the drying effects of the cleanser and the benzoyl peroxide combined, my skin is still left dry even after applying my moisturizer. I'm thinking that maybe if I can find a cleanser that won't leave my skin dry, it would at least reduce the amount of dryness I have. I

    Broke me out

    Broke me out

non-greasy excessively fragranced contains isopropyl myristate It did seem to help my acne scars, even my skin tone, and make my skin glow...BUT it broke me out all over my forehead. For me it helped with scars, but also caused pimples that eventually did scar. It contains a highly comedogenic ingredient (isopropyl myristate) and is known to be very likely to clog pores.

    Great

    Great

I was using this before I got on the regimen. I used this scrub every two nights in the shower. The beads are not harsh at all, and do provide sufficient exfoliation. it didn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry, and made my complexion brighter and softer. One downside is that it's kind of hard to rinse (synthetic wax is one of its ingredients so I suspect it's because of that.)
  5. Jojoba oil is a great makeup remover.
  6. Glow = glitter

Smells good Added sun protection Filled with glitter Doesn't moisturize very well Gritty texture I wouldn't recommend this moisturizer to someone with dry skin (such as myself). I didn't like that gritty texture from the shimmer, either. The shimmer in this moisturizer didn't make my skin look like it was glowing; it just looked like glitter on my skin.
  7. I've been on the regimen for a little over a month. I'm very careful to avoid my eye area when applying the benzoyl peroxide gel. I've noticed that my eyes tend to water like crazy. I don't know if it's the fumes or something. How can I reduce the stinging of my eyes while applying BP?
  8. I've noticed that when I get blemishes on my cheeks, they always scar or leave a mark, even when I don't pick at them. When I get pimples on my forehead, they'll leave a mark and then fade in like a month. Also, they clear up faster. On my cheeks however, I can have the tiniest blemish and it leaves a dark brown mark. I still have marks from 2 years ago. The pimples that hurt are usually the ones that leave darker marks.

    Meh.

    Meh.

does a good job at sloughing off flaky skin smells AMAZING inexpensive can be too abrasive First of all, I love the smell of it. Even the tube itself smells good (don't ask me how I know that.) However, I feel like it's a bit too abrasive for my face. It sloughs off dead skin fairly well. I use it for my body in the shower and it works wonderfully for that!
  10. Do you have oily skin or skin on the dryer side?
  11. Pretty good. :)

tingling sensation inexpensive non-drying I personally prefer cream or milk cleansers, as I have dry skin. This doesn't dry me out, and it's so cooling and refreshing. However, it's the menthol that gives you that tingling feeling. I used a toner with this cleanser and there was no dirt or makeup left on my cotton pad, so I'm left to assume it cleaned pretty well. It contains salicylic acid, but it does not indicate how much is in there.
  12. Preferably one I can find at a drugstore. In the winter, my cheeks, along my jaw, and around my mouth gets dry. I'm looking for a non-comedogenic suuuper moisturizing moisturizer. I was looking into the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream, but I read that petrolatum clogs pores, and then I read it doesn't, so I'm confused here.
  13. If there's a Walgreen's near you, I think you should look into the Studio 35 alpha hydroxy cream. I've heard really good things about it. I believe it has a concentration of 5.6% rather than 10%.

Non-Comedogenic Quickly absorbs into skin Moisturizing A little goes a long way Makes skin feel smooth Easy to spread A bit greasy at first. I really like this moisturizer. I only use it at night and it definitely helps with the dryness when I apply BP. At first it's a little greasy, but it absorbs very quickly. You don't even need a lot of product. I only use about a dime sized amount of lotion to moisturize my face and neck. Also, it doesn't break me out.
