  1. Little update: Been drinking 2-3 bottles of water a day now, but also have had soda & McDonald's sweet tea a few days last week too. Haven't really paid attention to any changes. I'm slowly becoming able to swallow water now (which sounds stupid, I know lol). Any other suggestions?
  2. So, how long do you think it'd be to see a change if I just drank water?
  3. For some reason my body seems to reject water itself. Juice, soda, etc. I can swallow easily once I take a drink, but water I kind of keep it in my mouth & force myself to swallow it. It's weird. To me, it tastes nasty, if that makes sense. I'll try it, though. For moisturizer I use Aveeno daily moisturizing lotion (SPF 15) non-greasy. It's dermatologist recommended. I personally think it's lack of water & hormones.
  4. Hello. Sorry for the pictures, I am still pretty self-conscience about my face mainly because I'm 20 and still have acne when basically none of my friends do. I was wondering what kind I have & what I should do. I almost never drink water (only juice, occasionally soda, rasperry tea, etc). My face gets kind of flaky after I get a shower & my face dries so I use a moisturizer mostly on my forehead & a little on the sides of my face that appear flaky.
  5. I forgot to mention the moisturizer I use has "Broad Spectrum SPF 15" in it. It's Aveeno and "non-greasy." What's an "AHA?" Could you link the exact product you're using? Edit: added photo of the flakiness to post Alpha Hydroxy Acid! This isn't the exact one I'm using but its basically the same. http://www.amazon.com/Alpha-Hydrox-Enhanced-percent-Glycolic/dp/B000052YM7 A lot of people either use this or the Acne.org AHA lotion. Thank-you. Your profile picture looks like your skin i

  7. So...it appears my acne has gotten better since my last post in January....thank God. But I don't know if it's improved too much. Anyway, what kind do I have in the pics below? I'm really self-conscience about it and I wear a beanie to hide it on my forehead in public I've been using Tretinoin Cream (0.025%) for about 3 months and I apply it every night before I sleep after washing my face, like it says to. I have more info under the pics, so read that too: The flakiness: So, the
  8. Now, I had breadsticks from Olive Garden. I didn't know if that's bad or not. I had a lot of salad, though, and I ordered salmon. This is good, correct?
  9. Alright, in a thread I posted in the Mild/Moderate acne forum, you can see pics of how my acne is. A few people recommended definitely cleaning up my diet. The past 4 days all I have eaten is: Oranges, like 2 pears, 3 bowls of oatmeal, 2 servings of scrambled eggs (3 eggs per serving) with some pepper, 2 salads (1 with chicken on top), and I've drinken only water and a glass of orange juice. No vitamins or anything. Is this good? Is this healthy to keep doing for a month? Will this diet cl
  10. 1)Is this lemon juice fine? http://www.gettingmo...ice-bottle.jpeg 2)I read on a site I can leave the juice on overnight & wash face in morning. Is that good? I never used lemon juice in a bottle before so I don't know for sure. But I am pretty sure that as long as the lemon juice is organic it is fine. Well it is all about experimenting what is right for you so I can't say it is good or bad. Gotcha. I put it on last night via cotton ball. It made parts of my face itch 10mins later, s

  12. I been suffering a good 5 years. Gotten worse over the years, I guess since I'd never eat straight up healthy. Now, when you say to eat "fish," can that be canned sardines? Avoid milk? So, I can't add milk to my oatmeal? This is gonna be a sucky month ha. I was beyond tempted to start eating a fresh, unopened bag of Doritos today...but I said nahh Edit: For some reason, I can't imagine my redness/acne going away just from eating right, I don't know why. I'll give it a month or so
  13. Haven't eaten any junk today. It's soooo hard to not eat it though since that's all we currently have. All I've eaten today is 2 oranges and scrambled eggs just now. Is that healthy?
