I'm prepared for having to go back on it, but it will probably have to wait until around may. I guess more of the question is how bad will it be by then? -
So I went through 2 months of Accutane. First month- 40mg Second Month-30mg 2x a day with 10mg Prednisone. My 7 day window ended without me realizing. My doctor called to let me know I would have to wait until next month to start my next month, out of frustration I decided to just end my treatment all together because Track starts next month and I have severe joint pain that I would not like to deal with during the season. I began taking Accutane in September. I started out 40mg a day. The next month I went up to 30mg 2 times a day along with 10mg of Prednisone a day. I am 16 and I am an expierenced xc and track and field runner. I am half way through my second month and the only side effect truly affecting me is the joint pain. I went for a run today and I could not believe how bad my knees and lower back hurt. Never in my life have I stopped a run short due to pain, but this was unbearable. I could barely move

I just started my second month of accutane: first month-40mg once a day 2nd month-30mg 2x a day. My derm prescribed prednisone today and I was wondering if anybody could share their side effects while taking Prednisone. I am mostly concerned with a change in weight. I have heard mixed reviews about it and I am nervous to start it. If anyone could PLEASE share their side effects, positive or negative, it would be greatly appreciated!
