  1. Okay so I had an elevated red bump (as all pimples forming) on left cheek in the middle. I had this for a day, and I unbeknowst to me would sometimes just scratch it for some reason, like it was something normal. Then it had like a whitehead in the midst of it not sure, so I went to shower around 1-2 days after it had came and after I shower I wash my face etc. I decided to pop it, and I'm not sure what happened, but now its like an open wound the size of a normal fingernail, if not a bit smalle
  2. Ever since I started dating my first love/childhood crush, my acne became recognizable to myself, and before hand I always had it, I just didn't care. But then I tried messing with it, even though it was really minor and it just became so much worse. Anyways, I use to go out during high school with my best friends. We use to pass this hookah lounge, and then I would always see these 14-17 year old high schoolers, whom we knew. There were girls, and we know how 14-17 year old girls can be
  3. I use to have oily skin, so I think. My father did too. Oily skin was the only cause I could come up with why I get acne aside from eating healthy etc. So I got the Cetaphil Oil control moistruizer and foam wash. Ever since I been using it, my face has been becoming dry and a bit flaky, and its always been that way due to a past dermatologist prescripted medication that completely ruined my face and made it extremely dry, and I didn't get a moisturizer to help it so my skin is set that way a

  5. Ok, so all my life basically I've been using hot water to wash my face, shower.. Is this the reason why I've still been getting acne no matter what, because I'm using hot water? I use hot water, really hot, everytime I shower. I use hot water on my face like 3-4 splashes then apply the foam than use cold water.. But I still got acne. So should I stop using hot water overall? Also, what exfoliator do you recommend? I used Clean n Clear 3-in-1 but it had microbeads in it, since you say they're b

  7. So recently ever since I bought this I've noticed I've been getting less acne. I've been using this as is, no other medication or anything. Acne medication dries out skin, so I just use Cetaphil Oil Control Foam Wash and sometimes I follow up with the Oil Control Moisturizer which is non-comodogenic. Thing is, my skin feels a bit tight after it and sometimes I feel like I'm doing it wrong. When you use a foam wash, do you these steps: 1)Throw hot water over your face repeatedly. 2)T
  8. I've been getting whiteheads here and there. It's not severe, but it's like 1-2 a week.. And then I have really small ones that form but fade away, but some rise. Recently I had been diagnosed with Vitamin D Deficiency. Winter has faded away finally, spring is here and summer is approaching and it's gotten recently hotter. I've been prescribed Vitamin D pills, but I've yet to take them. I noticed, I'm a guy who goes to school, then goes home instantly and stays in most of the time playin
  9. So I recently started using cetaphil and I noticed this red bump came out on my cheek. It isn't hard, just a smooth little bump. It hurts when I touch it tho. What is this? Cyst or just some spot that will fade away?
  10. I have Clean n Clear 3-in-1 Advantage Exfoliating Cleanser, 5% BP. I have Cetaphil oil Control Derma Foam Wash I have Cetaphil Oil control moisturizer with SPF 30. In what order do I apply these, and do I need the Clean n Clear if I already have the foam wash or what?
  11. So recently I had clear skin, got maybe 1-2 small whiteheads each 2 weeks or so, but they would go away in a day after using Clean n Clear 3-in-1 exfoliating cleanser for 4 months. Recently, I thought I beat acne so I started binge eating sugars (cake, donuts, chocolate etc) and I started breaking out. This is where I realized sugar was my acne causer, and I kept eating it even though I broke out. I stopped though and now my whiteheads take longer to leave, compared to a days worth needed, now i
  12. Basically I think I cured my acne, but now I have another problem. Dryness/flakiness of the face! Each time I shower/wash my face, my eyes get really dry and my vision gets blurred day by day because of the dryness. I reduced the dosage amt of clean n clear cleanser 3-in-1 and apply very small amounts now, morning and night, each day. I wash my face with hot water then apply the cleanser then cold water. I have no moisturizer either. I tried using olay SPF 30 sensitive skin moisturizer once
  13. Duely noted, and do you know anything about the healing fo it? Just let it be or what?
  14. I really don't think that exercising causes acne, I'm pretty sure it helps it. I never had acne during track season, and these were 3-4 hour long intense workouts. I think my profuse sweating cleansed my pores. Exercising reduces stress and keeps your body healthy. It must be some other factor that is causing your breakouts. Your 6:00 shower, is it a long, hot shower? Are your moisturizing afterwards properly? I have a similar schedule, and I shower around 6:00 every day. As soon as I step out o
  15. Past few years I've been suffering with a small amount of acne. It annoyed me because I would get healed of them, then another one would come out. Recently, my Clean n clear 3-in-1 advantage cleanser after 2 months managed to keep my face clear for a month but the past 2 days I've been reducing dosage extremely and stop using it on my forehead because it was causing dryness. Yesterday my face felt really oily and I didn't shower for like 2-3 hours till after and I got a small redish/brown bu
