  1. I just wanted to tell every person on here that is discouraged from acne, and everything that comes along with it, that you can make your life better. I don't give a shit what situation you are in, when, or where. I've struggled with severe depression, social anxiety, and alot of other things due to my acne and scarring for the last 5-6 years of my life. Like most of you, I felt fucked, raped, and killed by the trauma of what alot of people here go through. I've done alot of experimenting in soc
  2. Hey yall, haven't been here in a couple of months. Just wondering has anyone seen Justin(sad&secluded, and all his other names), I've browsed the forums every once in a while and haven't seen him. I know most of you probably dislike him for his controversy and whatnot, but he really helped me alot. I was kinda worried about him and wondering how he's doin, anyone seen him? I remmember the last thing he posted was about going on a makeover show or something.
  3. I have the solution you need. Simple process. 1:) Go to the acne.org gallery 2:) search for scarred4eva 3:) print those pictures 4:) fold the pics and keep them in your pocket 5:) everytime you feel the urge to pick at a bump, whip out my pics and remmember that my redness and scars were greatly affected as of the result of my "picking" problem... Just don't do it, everytime you're gonna do it just remmember it might not seem like a big deal now, but if you keep doing it alot then it will prolon
  4. Nice strategy, don't think about other people, and the envy will not come. It's all a mind game that is easilly avoidable with some training. I used to think about having clear skin all the time, then I trained myself not to focus on skin, since then it's been alot easier to get along in life. It's not our fault we have imperfections, so why act like it is? Anyone who tells you otherwise does not deserve our attention... It doesn't have to be a burden that we can't carry, only if we let it. Trus
  5. True, it's not fair at all,but we can't all have clear skin can we? Think of how burn victims feel, they probably say:"think of how great those acne sufferers have it, they can use products on their faces everyday and maintain it, while we are stuck like this everyday with no hope. they're just so lucky". Btw, congrats on getting the acne gone,it gets alot better from now on
  6. Life isn't all about girls and relationships man... I haven't had a girlfriend in 6 years. It doesn't matter though, it's not something I would kill myself over. So you're not with the girl that you want anymore.. it's not the end of the world. Do some other stuff to keep your mind off of it. Volunteer at a teen center and help some troubled kids or whatever just do something. I can't believe you are considering taking your life over a relationship. It really makes me wonder how civilization has
  7. Look at my pictures in the gallery.... He's in his 30's anyway, he's had alot of time to heal, by looking at pictures of him in bright lighting, I'd say he had really bad scarring when he was young. The point of this post wasn't really how bad his scars were anyway, rather the emotional issues and social phobic tendencies that he had. Thanks for posting though. :)
  8. Check out my pics in the gallery and thank god for your beautiful face. I think you could be a model, have you tried mineral makeup? It would probably cover your spots alot if not completely, and nobody can even tell it's on if you apply it correctly.
  9. Whittle1, You have it pretty good man... I know your scars probably bother you very much, but please take a moment to look at my pictures in the gallery, and reallize that you have it really good. You should thank god you don't have more severe scarring than you do. In my opinion, you don't need any treatments, just a waist of money and a mental drain. In any case, I hope you reallize that it's not that bad for you, and I hope you can overcome the mental issues that comes along with scars. By t
  10. Hey everyone, check this shit out, does anyone know James Hetfield? He is the leader of the band Metallica, (waves devil horns). Anyway, one of the songs on their newest albums is called Invisible Kid. It's crazy because James has pretty bad facial scarring, it looks like it came from acne, actually... I can tell it did for sure. He has tons of icepick scars on his face, and deep pits too. This song is written by him, It's a reflection of his childhood. I have a feeling he went through the same
  11. If you are really not comfortable going to it, then don't go. You don't have to answer to anyone about how you feel because of your acne. I would make an attempt to tell your parents how you feel though. I'm sure they've been around the block a bunch of times, and they more than likely would understand how you feel. As for the party, if I was you, I would make an attempt to go, if you can suck it up. I have very bad social phobia and often have anxiety attacks. When I was about your age, I start
  12. how have u been scarred? actually, was thinking about exercising more..get the pheromones (is that what there called?) jumping.. I'm not too good to tell you the truth, I've been battling an unknown illness for a long time, Often feeling very bad, and everyday feel like i'm dying, I get a body fever and feel like i'm gonna pass out half the time i'm awake. It's pretty scary. All the doctors keep telling me that they can't find anything wrong with me, but some days it's really bad and I ser
  13. Yeah, I feel your pain. Some of my old friends came up to my house a while ago. I hadn't seen any of them for years. I feel the same as you.... a nervous wreck, around anyone. At first they just looked at me like, "what the fuck happened to you dude?". Then they acted like they didn't notice because they were my best friends for at least 10 years. They started talking about old times and everything, and I just sit there feeling like I didn't belong... and they was at my house too. All of them wa
