  1. For a little less than a week now I've been using Neutrogena's 2.5% spot treatment - I dab a little on spots in the morning, and at night I spread it over my problem areas. I'm really happy with what I'm seeing so far. No redness, dryness, irritation, or peeling of any kind. It just feels tight after it dries (the night application) so I'm generous with my moisturizer. And I have super super sensitive skin. So maybe this product will work better than a 10%, it could be irritating your skin like
  2. I've been using the Neutrogena 2.5% spot treatment every day since my last post, as a spot treatment at first and now tonight I've used it generously - and there's ZERO redness, irritation, itching, dryness, peeling...so the reactions I've been having to Dan's BP must be some ingredient in the lotion or the way it's been formulated.
  3. It makes me yellow. In fact I use a lot at night and my pillowcases have yellow blotches on them.
  4. Yes, I use Dan's moisturizer morning and night. It's wonderful and soothing. My redness has gone down a good bit. Besides a couple spots I don't have active acne right now (save whiteheads) so I'll be good with just gentle cleansing and moisturizing 2x a day. I literally just use BP as a spot treatment now because a few months ago my skin rebelled against the treatment. I used to apply a good amount of Dan's BP in the morning/afternoon after my shower, just once a day. Sometimes twice a day if
  5. I find that it makes me a bit yellow if I use too much lol
  6. This is SO me. And it took me awhile to figure it out, too, because I'd been using Dan's BP for ages - usually you eliminate NEW products when you have a reaction like this, you know? I was actually hoping that I'd used expired BP, so I ordered Dan's travel-sized BP (smaller bottle because it was a test trial, and I only need BP for my chin and forehead). Well I can spot treat with the TINIEST amount and be okay - most of the time. But like someone posted in this thread, I guess I didn't wash my

  9. No, it makes sense - nice and natural. I totally agree about the sleep, by the way! I find that my skin looks best after 9-10 hours of sleep. The more sleep, the more healed my skin gets. I have green tea in the house, just not a fan - but I'm going to put the water on right now! I don't have time to put the bag on my face (work soon and then home very late) but tomorrow I'll try that. Thanks!
  10. I have a trip this upcoming weekend and my skin is just terrible. My mom was so kind to point out to me this morning that she's never seen my skin this bad even when I was a teenager (which imo is untrue). My chin has been constantly breaking out, now it's migrated up to my cheeks, and the part of my eyebrows closest to my nose keep breaking out with these hard, under-the-skin lumps. I actually only have a couple of active pimples, the rest are red marks, and this morning I was feeling good unti
  11. Best of luck. Dan's BP worked amazingly for me for a couple years, then my face decided to get extremely sensitive to BP this past fall. Sigh
  12. Red lumps all over my chin. The type that take weeks to go away despite treatment. Awesome.
  13. I've been getting spots lately - red lumps - that stay for weeks. Nothing gets rid of them.
  14. Mine take about a month or so to completely disappear, about two weeks for the redness to go away though (but I can still feel the bump under the skin).
  15. I've never been to the derm. My acne is generally mild, right now I'd say it's moderate. I don't think my skin is severe enough for Accutane. I used to use Dan's BP but a few months ago developed a sensitivity to it. If I use it, within a few minutes I have burn marks on my face. Bizarre because I used it for years no problem. I've done the supplement thing, it never helped.
