  1. Cystic acne is the worst isn't it? Don't trip though, you look pretty! I have the same problem with having cystic acne! They hurt like hell! Since i've tried almost everything, (some meds. made it worse, some temporarily better and some just didn't do anything) i've finally decided to try acupunture as an acne treatment. *sigh* I hope it works, because I don't really want to try accutane since my liver easily gets inflammed. I'll let cha all know how it goes!

  2. Y thank you! =P But anyways, basically I just asked for a choppy layered cut and for the color, I just said I wanted a chocolate brown base & semi-thick blonde-ish (not too blonde, just golden) streaks. Hopefully everything works out for ya! Post a picture after you get your hair done on Friday k? I wanna check it out =P

  3. Hey! My acne looks somewhat similar to yours. What treatments have you tried? I've tried just about everything and this week Im gonna start going to acupunture sessions to treat it. Many have found success with acupunture and taking herbal pills that the acupuncturist provides. If this doesn't work, I may have to resort to accutane. =/

  4. M5424--Hi there! Bare Minerals is great. Expensive ($25), but I love it because it hides my scarring well and it looks very natural and it doesn't feel heavy at all. On the other hand, I have had dry/peeling skin, and like any other make-up, it doesn't work well with it. It may work a little better, especially when you put mosturizer under bare minerals, but there are days when I actually have to exfoliate my skin and put moisturizer under the make up to make it look good. Apart from its nice coverage, its all natural and doesn't have any harmful chemicals/ingredients.

  5. Hi sk777...I will let you know how the acupunture treatment is going. I will be starting it sometime this week. But just the other day, I seen a close friend and his face used to be covered in acne, but now its clear and his complextion is so nice. He said he did that chinese acupunture treatment and that they give you herbal pills in conjunction. It really worked for him! Also, my friend told me that her sis-in-law did the same thing and is now acne free! I hope it works for me....but I will let you so know how it goes.

Hi hopeful0587--thanks for the advice! =) I know you're just trying to help, but I found American products to worsen my acne for some reason. Proactive how ever did work for a couple weeks, but then it made it worse. I think my skin gets immuned to a lot of these creams, meds, and so forth, which is why I am turning to acupunture and herbal pills. If that doesn't work, I may have to try accutane.

  6. Thanks Liv! I use Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum on the ends of my hair while it is damp. Then I let it dry out or blow dry it (when im short on time) and either flat iron it or use a curling iron. =) That usually does the trick.

  7. I've considered accutane, but im scared of the side effects. My liver even got inflammed from those antibiotic pills they give to treat acne, and I can't help but wonder (considering accutane is a much stronger product) how accutane would affect or damage my liver even more than the antibiotics. I really want to try it, because absolutely nothing has completely gotten rid of my acne. Im going to try Acupunture starting next week and if that fails me, accutane here I come....(maybe). =)

  8. Hi ItsyBitsyBetsy! Right now I am using a very very mild tea tree scrub & wash. In the morning I put an astringent called "babyface" and from reading the message board, it sounds somewhat similar to 101E Acne Gateway. I then put teat tree moisturizer on and go on with my day. When I get home, I wash my face with the tea tree wash and apply either Tretinoin cream or the babyface astringent ( I usually rotate these two product every 2 weeks or so depending on if my skin gets immuned to the products).
