  1. I've been using a raw honey mask for a couple weeks now and have had some decent success. I apply it over my face just in the morning and let it sit for 10-30 minutes. I can't say if you should abandon your whole routine, but maybe try taking out something small to start. Gradually changing your routine over weeks / months is the best bet! Honey can help moisturize, so maybe using water after won't be so drying? It all depends on your skin type and regimen. Cheers, Thanks for the reply
  2. Hey guys, I'm hoping to try out honey masks this week. I have some raw honey ready to go, so I'm excited to try it out and see if it works. I was just wondering how many days a week you guys use honey masks? Is it okay to abandon other treatments and use it every day? Right now, I'm 25 (male) and still searching for something to keep my acne at bay. I also worry about putting water on my face afterward to wash off the honey - do you think wet wipes would do the job? Water seems to dr
  3. Thanks! I'll give this a go. Out of interest, what cleanser do you use?
  4. Thanks for the reply! What type/brand of BP do you recommend?
  5. Hey guys, I'm 24 (and a half) and a male, though I'm still getting whiteheads. I've tried pretty much everything - all kinds of washes, natural pills, antibiotics from the doctors - but nothing has worked. Most recently, my acne has been a little better thanks to a Neutrogena Naturals product, though I can never get completely clear. I'm OK with just having a couple of spots - after all, everyone gets the odd one - though today I flared up with around 4 or 5 angry-looking whiteheads
  6. Thanks, I'll try it out! Yep, good idea - I'll just try it in one area
  7. The redness always seems to be there no matter what cleanser I use - it's less redness of a spot but more redness of an area...I guess it's more of a minor problem compared to the spots that were there before, though! Hmm, that's interesting. I'll give it a go - I don't moisturise as it seems to make me worse, but I'll give this a shot. Thanks!
  8. Hi guys, Well, I'm having some early success with a new product I'm trying: Neutrogena Naturals Acne Cream Cleanser. Anyway, my acne has improved a lot (so far, at least) and I'm not only getting a couple of small whiteheads a day. However, I'm still seeing redness, especially around the nose and chin area. Any idea how I can reduce the redness? I've used a lot of products in the past to try and keep my acne at bay, though this is the first cleanser to make a real difference. Hoping
  9. Thanks for the reply. Is Accutane still working for you? I've been thinking about Accutane but there seems to be a lot of side-effects.
  10. Hi guys, Basically, I've tried everything and nothing has cleared up my acne. The closest I got to a clear face was last summer when I went to the doctors and was prescribed Dalacin T Topical Lotion for around a month and my skin was as clear as ever for the first time in around 10 years. Then, it stopped working and I had the worst breakouts ever - loads of them. The doctor then put me on oral antibiotics for three or four months and nothing happened. Since then I've tried various w
  11. I took erythromycin too...wonder if it's a byproduct of that.
  12. Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I'm a guy with short hair so that's not the problem, plus I've been washing my neck too like I do my face...we'll see, maybe it will just subside.
  13. Hi guys, For years, my acne was mostly around my nose, mouth and chin area, though now I'm starting to get more and more spots on my neck and just under the jawline. Most of them are fairly large, too. I haven't changed anything when it comes to eating/exercise habits etc. Any idea why this change would happen? I'm 24 and have been suffering from acne for around 10 years. Thanks for your help!
  14. So what's the best option in the UK right now? Something I can order that will arrive within a few days or I can get at the chemist. Thanks!
