  1. Hi AngelSephirothX, Congrats on your success! How are things going now? Did you decide if you're going to do any additional treatments?
  2. I had a lot of additional scarring from subcision. I got raised lumps that still haven't gone away (1 year later) and most of them are next to the pitted scars I wanted to treat which just makes the depressions look worse. (Basically now I have rolling texture/scars which I did not have before subcision) I also scarred on several spots from the needle itself which essentially made my pitted scars look bigger because the new scars are right next to the old scars. One scar did raise up a tiny bit.
  3. Any updates from those who have tried this protocol? Interested to hear how the progress is going.
  4. From what I've read microneedling is supposed to fill up indented scars and flatten hardened collagen. (Although keloids respond unpredictably so maybe not for them) For the last few months I have been trying single lancet needling/stamping. I have been trying to aggressively stamp both the hard lumps and the pitted scars. I have done 3 treatments so far. The first was a professional session in the doctors office with a 1.5 mm dermaroller. The next two sessions (all spaced 8 weeks apart) I'
  5. I've heard of countless horror stories about silicone injections but no disastrous fallout yet from subcision gone terribly wrong. With subcision, you're basically breaking up the tethered scar tissues so I can't think of any major risk other than possible infection. sometime you can get a scar from subcision from the microneedle thats what i heard

I remember watching a video of subcision and after
  7. I needled with single needles that I bought from Owndoc. I hit 4 rolling scars that are failry wide and deep and 4 or 5 others that look sort of like ice picks. I was aggresive enough to draw blood and cause swelling in the rolling scars. Oddly enough the icepicks didn't really change shape at all. I suppose I was expecting to see some immediate improvement but I have not seen that. You are saying it will take months so I guess that means I will need to be patient. I hope it works, nothing else

  9. Hi Hiddy Cheeks and NUBY3, It's been several months since either of you posted here and I wanted to check in and see how the needling has working out for you both so far? Have you seen improvement? I needled a few scars about 2 weeks ago (boxcar and icepick) and I am wondering what I can expect. I know it's supposed to be a long process but after the microswelling went away I feel that my scars look worse! Getting nervous and hope to see some improvement... I don't want to continue to need
  10. Hi michi31, Thank you so much for your reply. How are you doing at this point? Did the liquid nitrogen and massage help? Were you able to take before and after pics of the area? Thanks!
  11. Hi WestPoppins, I also had subcision done on a few of my acne scars and it has now been 3 and half months since the procedure and I still have bumps. I feel that one area looks lumpy where I can see small pits from the needles but the area all around looks puffy and lumpy. I wanted to ask if your last bump ever went away and your skin completely leveled out? I am worried that mine have only slightly improved and I don't want to get more injections to remove them as that caused some of the dents
  12. Hey 2worriedmom, The dent is completely gone except for the small surface scar. (Like a very shallow acne scar pit - fat filled back in, skin had a scar) It never caved back in or regressed as some others have experienced. I have had 3-4 saline injections total. Unfortunately, as others have mentioned there is no guarantee that it will fill in... However, this only happened a month ago and for many people, myself included, the dent starts to fill back in between 1-3 months, sometimes lo
  13. Just wanted to update you all, sorry it's been awhile. I ended up having saline injections into the dent. It seemed to help because a couple days after the saline injection I started to notice that the dent was filling in. It filled it completely over the next month or so except for a small surface scar that was left behind. (The scar seems to be from the pimple itself opposed to the fat loss caused by the cortisone.) So overall I would say it started filling in about a month after I had the cor
  14. Hi girl11, I completely feel your pain. Having a dent is the worst! I just posted this and am hoping someone can help me as well... I really want to know if there is a way to tell if it's actually filling up (since it's so slow) or if there are signs that it's permanent. Is there a way to tell if the dent is actually filling up or if it's going to be permanent? After I had a large cyst on my cheek injected 2 weeks ago it started to rapidly deflate and I was left with a dent. Now I feel
  15. Is there a way to tell if the dent is actually filling up or if it's going to be permanent? After I had a large cyst on my cheek injected 2 weeks ago it started to rapidly deflate and I was left with a dent. Now I feel like the center of it is starting to become a defined point which leads me to think that it's permanent! I have small acne scars but I've never had a large scar like this before and I'm freaking out. I don't want to rush to do something to it but I also can't stand looking at i
