  1. Damn so the amount of sleep and food you consume has something to do with your ACNE? Ugh...if thats true...I eat about 1 meal a day at most and my sleeping habits are very poor.
  2. Hey I don't mean to scare you but. Accutane does cause depression in some cases, I took it about a year ago and I still feel some side effects. The eye thing your talking about never happened to me but. It is probably due to dryness yes. I would get some solution to just rense ur eye with. Accutane is a strong dosage, if taking accutane I recommend you take nothing else. For you will need nothing else. I have not taken accutane in over a year and I still have really dry skin and must moi
  3. Well I had never considered my skin Oily...its not oily...it wasn't dry either till accutane...now I am constantly putting moisturizer on my face because of accutane i did a year ago 0.o
  4. This may be a fluke but...it seems when I am away from home. Visiting relatives or just away from everyday life and stress. My face does also tend to clear up. I went to New York for christmas and my face was great, when I came on back to Texas it slowly went back to the way it normally is. I really don't know why this is for me, I tend to stress a lot about everything and think maybe when I'm away from it all and have nothing to stress about I don't break out so bad. I'm not even sure if s
  5. Most would consider me using Accutane slightly OverKill, but I was soo tired of trying and failing with every medication the derm perscribed me. I just wanted a fast quick result that would rip my face off and give me a completly new clean look! So I went for it, I am your typical teenager...whiteheads/blackheads are pretty common. But I also started getting little red bumps on my forehead and body...like my upper back and chest. I waited a long time before considering Accutane and realizin
  6. I am Caucasion, Irish if you will. Light skin color, pale even 0.o My Acne was not that bad at all. But I had tried everything else they had to offer with little to no success so I got bumped to the big leagues of accutane. I'm not going to say it didn't help. While on Accutane I had never seen my face so clear at times...it was amazing. But that went away eventually. I have experienced dry skin, easy reddening in the face and chapped lips since the day i quit Accutane and I am still suff
  7. I'm just curious if I am the only one alive that has not had good results with Accutane? I hear all these successful stories and they sound great! I wish mine sounded so good. It has been a year now since I had my last dosage of Accutane. Perhaps my breakouts are not as bad as they were before, but they are still there...and still a part of my life. Infact it seems it gets worse as time goes by. I don't know if anyone has had the same results but for me...not doing Accutane for a year...I
  8. What did you not like about ProActive? I just ordered proactive actually...I have a few friends that swear its the greatest thing they have ever used. Several of them choose that over Accutane, and had used Accutane and preferred ProActive Solutions much better. But I have yet to try the ProActive, I do know Accutane is a nightmare tho! So if you could go into more details about ProActive I would much appreciate it!
  9. I took Accutane for 4 or 5 months, during those 4 or 5 months my skin was more clear than I had ever seen it!! I was impressed really. Other than the fact that I had to constantly apply moisturizers to my face at all times, I had just skin falling off my face! My lips went to complete hell and Carmex was the only thing that saved me. You try applying Carmex 5 or 6 times a day for 4 or 5 months in the middle of class. Some people do not get depressed over Accutane, I tho did. I felt some of
  10. I can't say as I fully recommend Accutane, I was on it about a year ago. I am still suffering from some of the side effects. I started Accutane because I had several little red bumps on my forehead and back. I too have tried all the other ointments and what not any dermatologist will give you before Accutane. I too decided to say screw it! Nothing else has worked lets go to Accutane. Accutane does clear your face I will admit, not for ever. It is a very strong perscription. Normally pers
  11. At my place of work I have a few employees that preach ProActive. Stating it cured all for them and worked great. For moisturizing and what not I hear its pretty good. I just ordered it today...its kind of expensive ): but hopefully it will be worth it! I will let you guys know how I like it. The ladies I talked to say they can't live without it so... I guess only time will tell.
  12. Okay this is how it all started. I started getting little bumps on my back and forehead...mainly...they looked like heat bumps almost but they weren't. I started Accutane and yes my face did clear up, and yes I had to constantly moisturize my face and live by carmax to survive without my face falling off. Well I have been off of Accutane now for over a year, I went thru the whole program of it. Even tho I have not been on it in so long I still have a lot of the bad results as if I was still
