  1. Are you using the Regimen moisturizer? I found Dan's moisturizer to be not as moisturizing as the Cetaphil moisturizer. When I was using Dan's moisturizer I would itch sometimes because my skin was so dry. But after I switched to Cetaphil, it went away.
  2. I just introduced AHA+ to my regimen and I used a full finger length and applied it to my face. I expected my whole face to sting but the only places that stung were around my mouth (and it was almost unbearable for about 5 minutes and it subsided to a minor sting). Is this normal? I think it may be because the skin around my mouth is more sensitive than other places. Also there were a lot of flakes around my mouth. I hope nothing bad results from this and I guess I will have to wait til morning
  3. If your skin is irritated by the moisturizer, you should wait about 20 minutes after you apply the BP to let the skin fully absorb the BP. This reduced the stinging/"burning" sensation of applying moisturizer and helped reduce redness. Good luck with the Regimen! I hope you get great results.
  4. I've been on the Regimen for 18 days now and I have cleared up pretty well because I had mild to moderate acne to begin with. However I am not 100% clear, but I'd say a good 80% clear. I am starting school in about 2 weeks and my face has been red/dry/itchy/flaky recently and I was considering just using the BP at night only (I am currently using about 1 and a half pumps morning and night). I have also been reading around in the forum and noticed that a lot of people don't get used to the BP. I
  5. I've been on the Regimen for a little over 2 weeks now and my face is slowly adjusting to the BP, but my skin is still very dry and I don't think Dan's moisturizer is moisturizing enough (yes, I've been adding about 8 drops of jojoba oil each application). I heard that the Cetaphil moisturizer is a better alternative, but I am kind of hesitant because I might break out or my skin might get worse. Also, are there any spf moisturizers that don't break you out and don't leave your face with a whiti
  6. If the stream of water coming from your showerhead is gentle enough, you can let it hit your face which would help avoid irritation.
  7. Yes, they had the most acne compared to the other places on my face. And it is slightly red since my skin is still getting used to the BP but its not painful so I think I should be okay. Thank you for the advice, really appreciate it :)
  8. I've been on the Regimen for 2 weeks now and a lot of itchiness has gone away, but for some reason my jawline is still pretty itchy when I am in the shower or when I am cleansing it (It doesn't feel itchy during the day after I moisturize). Also, when I am cleansing my face, everywhere else on my face feels smoother but my outer cheeks and jawline still feels really bumpy and itches when I run my hand over it with cleanser. Is this normal? I think this may be because acne on the other parts of m
  9. The Regimen suggests 5 to 6 drops of jojoba oil with the moisturizer but I've been using 7 to 8 drops recently. Can this have any negative effects?
  10. I've been on the Regimen for about 10 days now and I am slowly starting to see results but my face is very dry and has started to become tanner than the rest of my body. I don't think it is because of sunlight because I have been using spf moisturizer and avoided the sun a lot. Can any veterans of the Regimen give me some advice on this? Will this go away eventually or what can I do to even out my skin color and complexion? Also I have asian skin if that helps.
