There are several people (me included) that developed similar symptoms, which didn't occur when using a different BP from Dan's. I myself just tested it the last few days. The Benzoylperoxide I'm using now has less extra ingredients besides BP. So yes, it is possible to develop a reaction to non active ingredients. I also asked my derm. She said it was possible and the only way to find out if it's the same in your case is trial and error. -

Try switching to another brand of BP. I experienced something similar and found out it's not because of the active ingredient (BP) but one or more of the other ingredients in Dan's BP that make my skin totally freak out. Red patches, yellow scaling, itching... Tried another BP with just a few extra ingredients (different from Dan's for a great part). No problems whatsoever. -
Hello everybody, just someting I wanted to share with you guys because it might help someone else in the future: I've been reading these boards throughout the years because just like most of you I have had pretty serious acne since I was 14 or something.
