  1. I started the niacinamide yesterday! and am going to rotate days between it and niacinamide and ween off the Bp. will let you know how it goes.
  2. I took the niacinamide recipe off essentialdayspa poster. 2 oz. of pure aloe Vera as a carrier 2 oz of distillec water 9 (500mg) capsules of niacinamide now brand.. this gives a 4% preparation which is used topically as treatment. instead of distiller water I used dickinsons witch hazel. These three ingredients are what is in metazene prescription, and it's all natural. and CHEAP I hope this works out for me
  3. I might actually be switxhing to a niacinamide topical. B vitamin which as been marketed by different pharm companies , and been shown to be as effective in not more than clindamycin with no possibility for antibacterial resistance . Also it's renowned for its ability to prevent water loss from the epidermal layer, and antiflammatory effects, oh and it's natural. So I am going to switch to making my own niacinamide gel as I have seen from other DYI users. Niacin is extremely stable , so I plan
  4. I am mildly frightened now about a potential breakout. I haven't used BP in about a week and been using heavily infused Thyme with witch hazel ( no alcohol). What I have noticed so far is generally tightening of my face, pores look smaller but I have had red bumps popping up on both sides of my face. Not large smaller ones, which seemed to have subsided a bit today. My face is very non irritated and the complexion is not red but whiter. I modified my toner yesterday by bumping the witch hazel/th

  6. I am going to Minneapolis this weekend, going to make this mixture and put in fridge for 3 days then start using when I get back. I purchased 100% pure witch hazel, nothing else added ,and organic thyme leaves.
  7. I am going to start this. Is the thyme dry spices ? or is it the plant version?

  12. Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it . I have definitely wanted to get off BP, even though I haven't been using it too long or every day even. I am not really sure what to replace it with at the time. lthough . I was using zion healths natural clay , salicylic acid cream. I am into organic and natural everything else but can't think of anything which will be an effective replacement.
  13. I am not really sure where to go from here. Nothing is working for my larger pores and rough face texture. I have used BHA, AHA , some needling. I am currently on BP every second day 2.5 % , and a gentle tea tree and vitamin e cream the other da. I also use green beaver moisturizer . I only wash once a day, as my skin is extremely sensitive, and will remain red and inflammed for quite a while. These are done in fluorescent lighting, and I showered applied my products about 2.5 hours ago. I fe
  14. I did this a year ago, after 2 weeks I caved. I would have liked for it to work, but I was not willing to look like complete garbage while being in university. I would rather submit to product usage and atłeast look decent , rather than look like an absolute mess with uncertainty about its ultimate success. If I didn't have to go out in public for the next 6 months, I might seriously follow through with this endeavour .
  15. This is nonsense. http://orthomolecular.org/resources/omns/v07n16.shtml You do realize that doctors and healthcare professionals take under 10 hours of seminars in "nutrition" in med school? Most of them are completely oblivious to the effectiveness of many vitamins and supplements and ground their beliefs in the insufficient RDA levels. RDA, the amount of a vitamin needed to keep you from dying, but not put you in optimum health.
