  1. Hey everyone! I don't know if this will help, but I have closed comedone or cystic acne, and this foundation worked for me. I did a review of it here: />http://practicalbohemianbeauty.blogspot.com/2012/07/clearing-clogged-pores-mineral-makeup.html p.s.: I'm not selling anything, promise!
  2. Hi! I use Ella Rose mineral powder. Check out my review here: http://practicalbohemianbeauty.blogspot.com/2012/07/clearing-clogged-pores-mineral-makeup.html I have closed comedone acne or cystic acne, whatever it's called, and this stuff works for me without causing more clogs.
  3. Hey everyone! Like a lot of people I've got SEVERAL issues going on with my face at once. I have suffered from cystic acne or closed comedones or clogged pores, whatever you want to call them, since I was 27. That's more than 20 years now. Eeek. I successfully treated my clogged pores with hemp oil and salicylic acid stuff that I made myself, but was looking for ways to lighten or treat the sun damage on my face. I did an experiment adding licorice extract to my s.a. toner and it actually wor
  4. I've ordered the ingredients for your toner and want to try it on a particularly bothersome closed comedone as a test. About how long do you think it will take to see results if I apply it twice a day? Thanks. Ginger, I think it would take a week or two. I'm not really sure, as I've never tried it on just one comedone before! Let me know how it works, will you?
  5. What kind of closed comedones did you treat with this formula? Were they bumps, whiteheads? I am never sure what people mean when they refer to closed comedones. Thanks! My closed comedones were bumps just under the skin. Some people call them whiteheads, but to me whiteheads are closer to the surface than mine were. Some of the bumps developed into cysts that just took FOREVER to go away, and were painful and red. These bumps were all over my face. I swear EVERY SINGLE PORE was clogged. It
  6. I've had bad problems with closed comedone acne for 20 years. It's a catch 22 because you want to cover up the bumps, but don't want to make them worse! I started doing some research and using mineral foundations. I've had bad and good luck with them, but have definitely found a way to make good choices. Read my post: http://practicalbohe...ral-makeup.html I'm NOT selling anything, promise!

  9. Have you tried mineral foundation? I've done a bunch of research on it and found ONE that doesn't clog my pores and make my acne worse. Here's a link to my post: http://practicalbohemianbeauty.blogspot.com/2012/07/clearing-clogged-pores-mineral-makeup.html I;m NOT selling anything, btw!
  10. I've heard about the aspirin mask, but it's not the same as cosmetic grade salicylic acid. How do you feel like the aspirin paste is working?
  11. Well, you can supposedly dissolve it with water, but it's never worked for me. Alcohol is really the only I've been able to dissolve it. I was hesitant to use alcohol on my face, but I did it anyway, and it's been nothing but awesomeness... If you follow the recipe I gave on my post, you'll be all right. It never caused any dryness or anything. Please try it! Honestly, I've been trying for YEARS to cure this ridiculous acne, and I finally found a way. It takes a long time (it took four months fo
  12. I have had closed comedone acne for over 20 years and I cured it FINALLY with salicylic acid and hemp oil. I blog about it because I know how damaging to the self esteem this can be, and how difficult it is to treat! Please check it out. I am NOT selling anything. />http://practicalbohemianbeauty.blogspot.com/2012/05/clearing-clogged-pores-salicylic-acid.html
