  1. The regimen is absolutely not a scam. I was hesitant to try it at first just because I was so used to being disappointed with acne treatments as they never seemed to really work for me but I can honestly say starting this regimen was the best decision I ever made! Seems dramatic but it is now 2 years after I started and I am still clear. I followed the regimen to a T from the very beginning and I think that was a huge part of my success. Don't try and cut corners or skip days/applications- just
  2. First off, I am sorry you are going through this! I can definitely remember how much it sucked . HOWEVER, you are in the right place! I am 26 and have been on the Regimen since April 2012. Best decision of my life! I have had acne since sophomore year of high school. It varied in severity- sometimes it would be pretty clear and other times it would be horrible. I was sick of trying every topical medication under the sun only to have it work for a few weeks and then stop. I even went on Acc
  3. I use these too! I felt that just a cleanser didn't completely remove my makeup so I first use the wipes then wash my face.
  4. Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-free Airbrushing pressed powder- swear by it. Apply with a kabuki brush and the results are amazing!!
  5. I also had to look for products without those two ingredients! Here is my makeup routine: After my fifteen minute wait is over after applying Dan's BP, I make my own tinted moisturizer using two pumps Neutrogena Oil-free Moisture for Sensitive Skin and a very small amount of Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation. I mix those two things together and apply to face with an ELF (Eyes Lips Face) brand foundation brush. Since this is considered my moisturizer step in the Regimen, I then wait 15 minute
  6. I have tried everything under the sun to treat my mild but persistent acne for the past seven years. Things work for awhile, then they stop working. Or it cleared up the majority of my acne but I continued to get pimples here and there. I have now been on The Regimen for three months and my skin is completely acne free AND the tone of my skin is amazingly soft and even! Here is what I do: Morning: wash with Cetaphil cleanser, treat with Dan's BP, moisturize with Neutrogena Oil-free Moistur
  7. Have you tried Dan Kern's regimen yet?? I started it about 3 months ago and my skin is completely acne free ) I only had mild acne but it was very stubborn like you are describing. It just never seemed to all go away completely! I was so sick of it so finally decided to do the regimen and it was honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made! My skin has NEVER looked this good before!
  8. When using the black soap, do you apply some pressure in circular motions as you would with most exfoliators? Or are you super gentle with it? I have been using it twice per day and have been really gentle...but when I get out of the shower my face has the dead skin all over the place so I have to gently wipe it away with a towel, which I know I shouldn't be doing!! Can you give me some suggestions for using the black soap please?? Thanks!
  9. I also have mild but persistent acne so decided to do the regimen. I am only doing the BP once per day but am doing it in the morning. You say you do yours at night....is there an advantage or reason for choosing to do it at night instead of morning?? Mainly for the dryness? Just trying to figure out if it would be better for me to do it at night instead! Thanks!
  10. I went on Accutane my senior year of high school after trying everything in the book to clear up my acne. Things would work for a little while but my acne would never completely clear up. I felt the same way you do...low self esteem and was so embarrassed to leave the house some days. It was awful so I finally decided I just needed to do Accutane. This stuff cleared me up. It wasn't always the easiest process but to me it was worth every single negative side effect! Compared to a lot of sto
  11. Just bought me some black soap and was wondering if you use it once or twice per day? Didn't know if it would be too harsh twice a day since it is an exfoliant! Also, how long did it take for the dead skin/flakiness to go away?? Just curious! Thanks!!
  12. Keilebakescupcakes- I am interested in the Albolene stuff you mentioned since I can't seem to find a makeup remover that gets ALL of my makeup off!! Are you doing the regimen?? How do you incorporate it?? Do you use this stuff to take your make up off first and then cleanse separately? Basically...how do you use this stuff?!?! Thank youuu!
  13. Hey Stephanie! I just started the regimen a week ago and was worried before I started that I wouldn't be able to wear makeup. That was just not an option especially for work! I continued to wear my same liquid foundation that I wore prior to starting the regimen and found that it actually looks BETTER on my skin! Weird right?! I did however go and buy some new powder, blush, and bronzer as I learned to look for ones without talc and bismuth oxychloride (tends to be an itching agent). Her
