  1. I have blond hair all over my face. One time I had a guy say "You have so much hair on your face." (Real nice guy. I dumped him.) Anyway, I use the personal touch hair remover like you were asking about. I use it just like I'm shaving my face. It doesn't grow back darker but of course they do have blunt ends. It isn't a big deal and my husband hasn't ever noticed and he would probably say something. I like the trimmer. It is easy and painless and I can do it anytime quickly. I'm glad
  2. Thanks for replying. I had given up on this thread and haven't been on here in awhile. I haven't tried the skin essentials kit yet. I couldn't decide yesterday if I should get it or the Clean and Clear Advantage acne control kit so I got the Clean and Clear at target. The commercial on Clean and Clear got me interested because they said it works alot better than proactive. I 'm still a little worried because it has salicylic acid in it which usually makes me break out. I thought if I didn
  3. Well I bought their wrinkle repair cream and I have to say I'm liking it. May have to get the acne kit if I keep having these hormonal breakouts. Has anyone tried it yet?
  4. I was in Walgreens and seen a generic of proactive from their skin essentials line. It is only 12.99! I heard very good things about the skin essentials wrinkle formulas and was wondering about their acne kit. It comes in a blue box. I have used Walgreen's Klear Action but the toner was so strong it made my face burn and itch. This skin essentials kit is quite a bit cheaper.
  5. Aleve works good for me. I took it last month and during this month and no outbreaks. I take some during ovulation for a few days (one a day) and I take during my PMS week (one a day.) It's the only thing that's worked for me. Give it a try. That is the kind of acne I was dealing with. I dreaded that time of month.
  6. Since some think there are very few with success with this I thought I would give my opinion. I have been doing the dip for 3 weeks and I am happy with it. My face is doing really well and I'm not quitting anytime soon. It has been motivating for me to see no new spots like I was having. I do use a cleanser (plain old time soap bar) because I wear lots of makeup. I don't know that it fades marks but I feel it helps things to heal quicker. I am going to keep doing it because I like the way
  7. I just thought that I would throw this out there. I have been using the dip method for I guess 3 weeks and I am happy with it. I feel my face has improved to where I am not going to quit anytime soon. I do use a cleanser (nothing with special ingredients just an old time bar soap) because I wear makeup. I don't know that it has made my marks fade but I do feel stuff heals quicker. I just like the way my face feels after and since I'm not having any new spots I'm not willing to change. I d
  8. Actually, I believe he is talking about the Dry Skin Cream which is a moisturizer. The deep cleansing cold cream is the emollient cleanser. I have 3 different types. There's also one for oilier skin with cucumber. The Dry Skin Cream is a moisterizer that's very emollient. I talked to the company once about it and they said one lady claimed when she used it that she didn't break out anymore. I used it before but I had a breakout. I don't know if it was due to that or the cleanser I was usi
  9. I agree with Lionqueen. I have taken advil before thinking it might help. The aleve worked better. It also stays in your system longer so you don't have to take as much.
  10. You're friend won't be sorry. It works wonders. Glad Lionqueen posted about this. I've tried different topicals and have been the pill route along time ago. Was considering again but didn't want to go that route. I think the pill messes alot of people up worse. It never really did much for pms. I would also add that I was getting painful ones that sometimes wouldn't come to a head and stick around for weeks. They always left red marks. I'm so glad to have found out about this. I just f
  11. Thanks for the reply and thanks for introducing us to this on the other thread.
  12. I just wanted to say that I tried the Aleve and I have had no pimples during this time of the month. I'm so happy. Nothing I ever tried worked before. I took some around ovulation ( I tend to break out then) and one a day during PMS week and taking 2 a day 2 days before my period. I'm so thankful to those that posted this. I have also been doing the dip regime (sticking your face in hot water and soaking for one minute) but I feel the Aleve really helped internally. I always felt like I wa
  13. Well I am reporting back to say that this is the first time I have had no pimples before that time of the month. I'm so happy. Nothing I had tried before ever worked. I took some around ovulation, then I took 1 a day my pms week and 2 a day 2 days before my period. I have no pimples. I'm so impressed. I have also been doing the dip regime (putting your face in hot water and soaking for a minute) but I feel the Aleve really helped internally. If you have PMS acne give it a try. Just be ca
  14. I know you have tried alot of different things. I just thought I would throw this out there. There is a thread on the General Acne Products Posts listed as "Certain Dri for acne". Check it out. People are claiming they haven't had a new pimple since using it. I tried it and it made my face itch. My face is clear right now. I've been doing the dip method (where you put your face in a bowl of hot water for 1 minute taking 15 second breaths. ) I do this in the morning and in the evening. Y
