    My Method To Clear Skin!

The vitamin d3 that I personally use is one by 'healthy origins' -- you can get a bottle of 360 (so basically 1 year's supply) for £8'ish so it's very affordable. Would you care so much about skincare if you didn't have acne-prone skin? I know I wouldn't. If I didn't have acne, I don't think I would care about skincare at all. When I didn't have acne skincare was never something I thought about or payed attention to because to me, it wasn't very important. I sometimes wonder what my life wo

    My Method To Clear Skin!

The Benzyl Peroxide is completely fine! I was thinking about getting a tube myself to help a little bit. Just make sure you use it in moderation the combination of vitamins and benzyl peroxide will help I think I am definitely going to have to try Zinc. Dan, the founder of this site uses it in correlation with his regimen... So I'm definitely going to look into it. Probiotics sound interesting; do you have a preferred kind/brand?

    All Natural Acne Pills?

This seems a little too good to be true, for me at least. Ok. Where do I start...? My current skincare routine has been working pretty well, in fact, I'm mostly clear. AM: cleanse w/ 2 pumps of Cerave Hydrating Cleanser for 20 seconds, wash off, dry face, apply a little bit of jojoba oil + coconut oil, or if i'm going to be out in the sun, apply some jojoba oil then my JuiceBeauty SPF 30 Sport Moisturizer. PM: cleanse w/ 2 pumps of Cerave Hydrating Cleanser for 20 seconds, wash off

    My Method To Clear Skin!

I'm really glad that there's other teens out there that actually care about skincare/wellbeing. I'm in my teens, and most of my friends just think I'm weird talking about all this skincare stuff but they sort of let me be because they know it works lol. Most of everything I do for my skin is topical, it works, for the most part, but I'm really curious about what I could do internally that would fight acne. I don't have a ton of money to spend on this stuff, I'm not broke but I can't afford

I Need Answers :( The Regimen

2.5% is just as effective as 10%, only 2.5% will not dry out and irritate your skin as much. I personally do not have any experience with 10% benzoyl peroxide, but I'm using 2.5% and it cleared my mild/moderate acne pretty quick when I was using it twice a day, I only use it once a day now and I still get a blemish or two but for the most part I'm very happy. Your skin is looking great by the way, good luck!
  6. When I first came on here last year, I was convinced I was the youngest person on the site struggling with acne, lol. (i was 13, i am 14 now) so don't worry, you're not alone. I could go more in depth with my story, but basically after trying so many things and having horrible self-confidence for 3 years, I was done. I had enough. My medication that I was on cost WAY too much money and wasn't very effective, so I needed something else. I tried the acne.org Regimen on a whim, and I got what I w

    ¿the Regimen And The Beach?

I normally would say go for it, but since you would just be starting your skin will be extra sensitive, and at the beach, that can be harmful - considering Benzoyl Peroxide makes your skin more susceptible to sunburn, the saltwater might be a little harsh and your skin probably will be flaky. I would wait until you get back, just so that way the regimen doesn't get in the way of you having a good time, because it can be a little hard to adjust to such a time consuming, dedicated routine whe
  8. Let's have a chat, shall we? I find that people in my life don't care about skincare, at all. I care a lot. Skincare products are my addiction, I always want to try new things, and I do have very acne prone skin, so keep that in mind when I'm talking about things, this is Acne.org, so really every topic on this forum should be devoted to acne prevention. Acne is the only thing that has driven my interest in skincare, and sparked my desire to strive for better skin, more efficiently. I wa

    Bug Bite Or Pimple?

Ok guys, so I don't often come on here seeking help anymore, but this is I am very curious about, since it is summer and there are bugs. everywhere. How do you distinguish a pimple from a bug bite? First of all, I'm covered in bug bites at the moment. It is very unpleasant. I have one particular bug bite on my forehead that doesn't really itch as far as I know, but doesn't seem to be affecting one particular pore. There is no mass to it really it just looks like a little swelling. Ther

    Acne Redness Removal Trick

When my acne was at its worst this is one of the tricks I had up my sleeve. If I had anywhere important I had to be the next day I'd run to the ice cubes. It actually worked in bringing down the size and redness of some zits. I guess it numbs the skin or whatever so the bacteria is killed or something? I'd try this out if I were you. It really works!

    Natural acne remedies?

BRANDS TO CHECK OUT: - Michael Todd True Organics - Alba Botanical - Earth Science - Desert Essence - Aubrey Organics - Burts Bees NATURAL MOISTURIZERS! - Coconut Oil (obviously make sure it's organic, expeller pressed or cold pressed, virgin or extra virgin, unrefined) - Almond Oil - Jojoba Oil - Avocado Oil - Aloe Vera ACNE REMEDIES: - Tea Tree Oil - Honey (very antibacterial) probably more things I can't think of GOOD LUCK
  12. Very severe acne can not be managed by good skin care and hardly anyone has every "cured their acne". They either grow out of it or go on accutane. If you're one of these types that thinks using "the regimen" and eating a vegan dairy/gluten free diet will manage acne then you've never had it in a severe strain. How else are you supposed to manage severe acne? If you claim that eating very healthy and taking care of your skin won't clear acne, what does? Hmm? Accutane? Not everyone can be on Ac

Any Advice For Depression From Acne?

I am very sorry that you are experiencing this. Nobody deserves to. My advice is, focus on the positives. I know it's hard, but think. At least you have a boyfriend that loves you, most people can't say that. Things WILL get better. You have to keep searching for answers, and always remain optimistic and open to new possibilities. Stay strong, sweetie, I wish you the best on your journey to clear skin!
  14. Acne SHOULD NEVER keep you from having fun. I can't imagine staying indoors or at home while your family is out having a good time could be very fun... Sweating can definitely cause breakouts, so can oiliness if you get oily you can get some oil blotting sheets. SPF and sunhats are everyone's best friend in the summer and I recommend them.
  15. After going through much skincare drama, struggling with acne and breakouts... Here is my current skincare routine. I am seriously addicted to skincare products, I don't know what I would do without them. Feel free to give this strange regimen a try, it's more for people with dry, acne prone skin like myself. AM: Cleanse for 20 seconds with CeraVe Hydrating cleanser (use hands) rinse, pat dry, then apply 7 drops of jojoba oil followed by a dab of coconut oil to make the perfect lazy moistur
