Previously been on Accutane for 10 months; 30mg 1st month; then 60mg for 9 months.
Currently on a second course, just a low does 20mg.
Would like to help others on here with questions.
  1. Thanks - I will give Avene's water a try next time I order. The LRP one isn't bad though - I really like it, but I will try Avene's one, I'll take your word for it that it's better. You've been helpful - thanks again
  2. Thanks for this - I am using La Roche Posay Hydreane light which seems to be okay for me - but I think the one you mentioned could be ever better. Glad I could help I have experimented with a LOT of products over the years, and this one is my HG moisturizer. I assure you that if you try it you will love it 2 If you have any questions feel free to message me! ps. I am a makeup artist who knows a lot about skincare so trust me on this one Thanks - I've tried it now and it's very good, two pum

  4. I had the same thing a few weeks ago. Looks identical to what I had. I just used a gentle cleanser (cetaphil) and then a thin layer of Dalacin T topical solution just to keep the area clean and to also clear any bacteria. I also used a bit of moisturiser just to help with any dryness or irritation ... anyway it went away within two weeks ... well most of it did. I only have one or two little tiny bumps. Just be gentle with them, try not to aggravate them. For awhile I used cetaphil and stridex
  5. I've joined the club. Been a member for 3 years. Even have a jacket. Fuck it, hope you're dealing with it okay.
  6. Everything you've just said(or I should say "typed" lol) sounds like my life! It's hard to face the world when you have acne. Tell me about it How are you now anyway? I'm not too bad myself, just mild acne.
  7. Great post, it was like listening to myself. I say the same sort of thing to myself over and over and it makes me mad as hell. SO UNFAIR !!!!
  8. At one point ... EVERYTHING, except sleeping, eating and watching tv. Never went out for 2 years ... how about that? Fuck acne!

  10. I think my diet is not a big factor when it comes to the acne I have. If I were eating take-away, oily or fatty food 7 days a week then maybe it would be a big factor. That's why I don't understand all the crazy diets I see on here. I still eat chocolate on most days, just a small bit, I also drink milk, I also eat pizza, I also eat take-away. But I also balance my diet with healthy home cooking, fruit, vegetables, lots of water, green tea ... and excersize. And my acne never changed even whe
  11. It's true ... I am thinking of starting myself and it makes sense to slowly introduce your skin to it. Like Accutane, because of it's power, it can aggrevate your acne before it gets better. Start slowly. I know I will if I decide to try it out.
  12. Yes ... I had a spare box from my first course. I started to experience a comeback, so I started myself on 20mg a day and booked an appointment to see a derm because I had an open book with the clinic (on the NHS). I sort of held the derm at ransom. I told them that I started self-prescribing and I want more of the drug as I need it. I was given a 3 month course. Unfortunately, I started to get bad knee pains so I stopped after a month. My skin is fairly clear. I only have a few spots here and t

Or get a knife and slice your face. You look in the mirror and you’re fucking UGLY! Why me? Fuck you, Fuck god, Fuck this planet, Fuck life, Fuck acne …
