  1. For those interested, I had 3 scars treated with TCA Cross about 4 months ago that I posted on this thread. My healing response was great and 2/3 of the ice pick scars had significant improvement after 1 treatment! I would say 40-50%.The other scar was deeper and had minor improvement ,10-20%. Well,I also got a 2nd TCA Rx done on those scars and plus about 8 more. Most are ice pick scars, but we did a couple of rolling/boxcar scars. It has been 2 days and the treated scars are black where the sca

  3. Hello all, I was wondering what people thought about a green based concealer to cover up discolorations (such as red marks) before placing a concelaer such as Dermablend that matches your skin tone? I have been experimenting with "Phyisians Formula Gentle Cover Cream Concealer" and "Almay Clear Complexion Blemish Healing Spot Concealor".I must say without the green concealer I cannot completly cover up the red or discolored spot. But I am having trouble with conealing the green spot completly.
  4. Animegirl, Congratulations on the results so far!I myself am getting TCA Cross doen right now. Do you have any special techniques that you use to cover up the redness/discoloration in the treated pitted scar through your make up products?I'm a guy so any help would be great. Thanks!
  5. It has been said by doctors that the hyperpigmentation from TCA Cross is coverable with concealor. Can any redness/dark spots within the treated pit be covered? If so, how? This is the key for me to continue the technique.I have to make sure I can coverup these spots that may take forever to resolve on its own. Any help would be appreciated!
  6. Hello all, Sorry if this has been posted before, but does anybody know what the best treatment for deep or shallow boxcar scars are?It seems to get mixed reviews. I know for me, TCA Cross is bet for ice picks and subcision is for rolling scars. Thanks!
  7. All, I just has my 1st cross treatment yesterday and my doctor advised me to place a bandage on for 1 day on 3 or so test spots at 100% TCA. When I took it off the area was really ( like it has been bleeding). This seems pretty normal from the reading that I have done and should fade over time. What disturbs me the most is the spot is really daek brown/black.I'm of indian -asian descent and have darker skin than the people in the Korean Cross article. Are these spots normal? Are they suppose t
  8. Thanks RichardSkin and Reilly! I also feel my doctor is great. He was not aware of the TCA Cross Treatment until I notified him about it. He classified all my scars in a consultation, and researched the procecure and seems to be an expert on it now and it became his treatment of choice. Do you guys think subcision and collagen in jections are more effective for rolling and boxcar scars?
  9. Reilly, I just had my 1st TCA Cross Treatment performed today. My doctor wanted to test my healing response so he just treated 3 ice pick scars. He also stated this treatment seems to be most effective for ice picks as you mention. Why is that? Is it still the most effective treatment for rolling and boxcar scars in your opinion? Most of my scars are soft scars(rolling, boxscar) so I was wanting to know if you know the most effective treatment for that. Thanks!
  10. Thanks for all the great tips for guys. SOmeone mentioned in another thread to conceal red marks you first need to apply a green based concealor to mask the redness. Then place a concealor that matches your skin tone over that.Is that something you recommend?
  11. FYI.. The TCA article(that is mentioned in this thread) has been posted online and it looks like in full length.Sorry for the double post if someone found it. http://www.cosmeticskin.com/skin-acne4.shtml
  12. Hey guys, I think I will buy this product. But I'm still confused on how this "fills" in the scar. From reading Prescriptives website it states that it works by "The elastomatic liquid retexturizes skin's surface for a flawless appearance" Huh? So you people using it notice that the pit looks even in texture with your surrounding healthy skin? Thanks for youe help everyone!

  15. Thanks a bunch for your advice!! I'm a guy and I may sound a bit naive when it comes to this stuff. one last question-this presc line smoother only comes in a clear color? I could not find a color on www.gloss.com I have indian-asian skin and my pits are darker than my surrounding healthy skin so if it is clear then i must apply a dab of skin tone matching concealor or foundation on top of the line smoother to match my skin color as anime you mentioned? I trying to make sure it looks natur
