  1. Hello everyone Sooo, it's been awhile but I still got the exact same problem. As you know I had the Japanese straightening thingy done and quite frankly, it was the biggest mistake EVER. It has completely damaged my entire hair. My split ends had split ends on their split ends...all the way up my hair. So last week I went to the hairdresser and told him to chop off all splits. Well he said if he did I'd have a bob. So now my hair is shoulder length..(before it was like below boob. ) The annoyin
  2. Sooo, the Tazorac 0.1 is working a lot better than the 0.05 percent strength. Still, my pores are huge and a few blackheads remain. It makes me so self conscious I am generally happy with my looks EXCEPT for my skin/hair... It really gets me down. My skin looks like a 40 year old's skin would look like because my pores just make my skin look so uneven and not smooth I don#t have inflamed acne at all except for one pimple here and there but those blackheads/large pores just make me so angry!!!
  3. So to update you all I got a trim about 1 month ago and the annoying thing with my hair is that I have blonde "patches" in my brunette hair from last summer (sitting in the sun too much!) and those "patches" are the only parts in my hair where I get split ends and it's so annoying! I always have to cut my entire hair only because of these blonde streaks.. Anyway, I already begin to notice split ends again..! BUT I have found a great shampoo+conditioner/mask combo: Alterna's Bamboo Luminous Shin
  4. So you really think it does do that? I'm so confused because Taz is supposed to help a lot with this issue rather than making it worse...Also, It really helps a lot with my blackheads but if I discontinue using it my blackheads will be back in no time. Any suggestions for that ? Thanks and good luck for your pores too
  5. Well, lucky you! When are you going to start? Also, to update you on Taz: I really don't know what to do anymore I even cry! With primer/makeup my pores look really nice but as soon as I take that off my pores are deep and large and even a lot bigger than they were before Taz! (especially on my nose where I already have those big random pores with weird lines through them..). I don't know what's happening there and if that's even possible! I don't know if I should stick to it or not...any sugge
  6. Hi! I'm really careful with masks like this because most DIY masks either break me out or irritate my skin. I really don't know if Taz makes my pores bigger because my pores were not as big as they are now in the beginning... Is it possible? And should I just keep using it and see how it goes? Maybe it's the strength I'm currently using (0.05) but I'm switching to 0.1 next week... Oh and about the gel moisturizer - please don't buy that one!!! It contains a lot of alcohol and perfume and will p
  7. Hi everyone!! I've been using Tazorac for about 2 months now but have stopped using it in between for about 2 weeks because I had the feeling that tazorac made my pores bigger than they were before. I never had large pores to begin with but I used it to combat my blackhead-loaden nose. Actually, people use Taz to treat large pores so how come that some people notice their pores become bigger and how's that possible? Also, could it be that it's only a temporary effect because the pores kind of
  8. Hey, do you really think so? I have the feeling that it helps .. I am using the Living Proof Restore line at the moment but it doesn't really help. No, I don't color my hair at all! I don't know if I have hard water or not..?! I get my hair cut every 3 months because I really want it to grow long!! I got it cut today and it is sooo short Any recommendations on how to care for it so it grows healthy?? Thank u

  10. Yeah, that's what I figured out too. I started using Tazorac again yesterday, I hope it works by unclogging them, opening them and then closing them again I'm also going to get the 0.1 strength gel (I use the 0.05 gel, which is actually for psoriasis!), maybe it works better. Which Retin - A strength do you use? Now I use: Paula's Choice CLEAR Cleanser or Skin Balancing Cleanser, Skin Balancing Toner, 2%BHA Liquid, Tazorac and Skin Balancing Moisture Gel. Mornings: Cleanse, tone and exfoliate (
  11. I had the exact same problem and I am so desperate!!! Before my pores were pretty small and now they look like my 48 year old mother's!!! HUGE AND GROSS! I really don't know what to do:((
  12. I'm also trying to get rid off a few red and brown marks... EVERY pimple leaves one behind, no matter if I picked or not!!! I started noticing that when I was 12 - my forehead hat tiny brown spots all over it, like huge freckles. Just then a dermatologist told me those were acne marks. But Tazorac will help fade those a bit and BHA (I LOVE PAULAS CHOICE!!!) is going to help too. Just be sure to use something irritant free. Also, I want to try hydroquinone which is the only thing that really help
  13. I have also used Paula's Choice 2 % BHA Liquid and it helped and does still help but my nose and the area surrounding it still look horrible. I am sooo desperate and I feel your pain!!! I'd advise you to NOT use a manual exfoliator as it won't reach the pore where all of this stuff happens..try a BHA (penetrates pores) instead. Also, try a milder cleanser as harsh products trigger oil production. I like Olays Foaming one for sensitive skin and CeraVe's Foaming Cleanser..Paula's Skin Balancing C
  14. Thanks a lot for your tip I'll check that website... I never do heatstyling!!! I think I might just try the Macadamia Natural Oil's Shampoo and stuff and see how it goes... My hair only has a slight wave to it, btw
