  3. I like using something thick so it dosen't run through my fingers when I'm trying to lather it up. I use the Clearasil oil free daily face wash in the tube kind of thing when I shower. It's big and fairly cheap, lasts for a while and I like how my skin feels clean afterwards. At night I use a 2.5% SA Neutrogena face wash. It's a little less soapy than the Clearsil, it takes more time to rinse, but if you wash long enough it makes you skin feel nice and tingly, it seems to work well for me so I
  4. I have pretty tough skin, I guess, I used to use the 5% stuff at night but ahve since switched to 2.5% BP... I've actually seen improvements, though I'm not sure if it's because my skin is getting better by itself, I'm applying it differently, or there's less irritation.
  5. I have used BP for a year or two now, in combination with SA, and I have broken out pretty badly within that time period. Usually when I've broken out in the past I could eventually nail it down to something I did wrong though. Washing too fast, applying things lightly or not taking enough time. When I had clear(er) skin I wouldn't take so much care in washing, etc, and I believe that would eventually case me to break out worse than before... it was a pretty bad cycle. I also eventually fo

  7. IMHO to be really effective you have to become more aware of your whole lifestyle. Are you using moisturizer with your BP though? My thinking has always been -- watch what comes in contact with your face -- sometimes I will not wash a pillow case for a while, or hand towels... Make sure you are washing well enough, but not too much. If you can give more details to what you are doing day-to-day that might be helpful too.
  8. Make sure you skin is dry enough so that it will accept the BP more easily, also take time on applying it. The biggest thing is to keep on top of it and keep doing what you're doing consistently. Watch what comes in contact with your face, esp pillows and sheets at night which can cause breakouts, detergents or dry cleaning that can irritate you skin. Once you find a plan that works for you well, keep on it and keep consistent. Be aware that results may come a little behind when you actually
  9. I use both, and my skin has gone through good and bad... right now it's pretty good, getting better. I admit sometimes the combination makes my skin look real red -- sometimes a problem. I am going to try to move off the SA (I used BP at night, SA during the day) and try to use BP during the day... I'll see what happens
  10. I don't think it's the impurities from your blood that are turning your urine yellow, it's probably all the excess B5 your body can't use.
  11. I have always used the two together, my face wash has SA in it too. I would probably consider my skin more conditioned than others, at night I will go over my face with a cotton ball or two with rubbing alcohol before applying BP, it really dries it out, but I've had the most success staying clear this way.
  12. I smoke week on occasion but found it irritated my acne the day after so I tend to stay away now.
