  1. yup me too. When I look at my scars, I tend to look at them in mirror using just light from the sun and nothing else, then I see what mine's really look like.
  2. I believe so. I will look into some procedures later. I just need to completely get rid of my acne first before I move on.
  3. I have been reading many posts by people asking for advice on what really WORKS for acne so I have decided to write this to help you guys out. I am a male and have had moderate acne since I was 16 and I am now 19. First thing is everyone need to realize that acne will eventually go away. My acne is pretty much under control now. I just get those occasional zits due to stress or when I consume anything dairy (milk, cheese, cream etc) and those occasional huge ones. I do have very very mild acne s
  4. haha that's great to hear. Did any of our indents go away or are they still there? A few went away but there is a lot left, but then again I had really severe acne with deep scars. The shallow ones I have are barely visible. The moderate to severe indents are very visible depending on the lighting angle. If yours are shallow, I wouldn't worry too much. I had a couple shallow ones on my chin and now no one can see them. if yours are not pitted then they are not scars. They would go away comple

  6. I have had moderate acne since I was 17 and I am now 19. My acne is pretty much under control but I am left with a bunch of acne scars, scarred pores and enlarged pores but only 2 of them are pitted and are very shallow. I have a shallow ice pick scar and a shallow tiny boxcar scar on my right cheek. I just want to know: 1. If the discolorations on those scars will fade in time? 2. Will my scars eventually blend in with the color of my skin? 3. Approximately how long will it take? 4. What tr
  7. Well I pretty much just have PIH. But I have a single pretty shallow ice pick scar and 1 or 2 small and shallow boxcar scars. My question is should I apply the differin gel on those scars and will it help? Topicals generally do not help scars. The best I have every seen is topical tretinoin (Retin-A and its derivatives), and it only works on very shallow scars, and it takes months to work, and even then you'll only see minor improvement. Well I am not really overly self conscious of my sca

  9. Hi everyone. I was prescribed Clindamycin and Differin Gel by my doc for mild acne. I have very mild acne with the occassional hormonal monster pimple. I do not have much acne scars. I have about 2 or 3 very shallow pock marks and 1 ice pick scar on my cheek. But can someone with knowledge regarding this please tell me if: 1. Is it safe to exfoliate with a salicylic acid toner while on these two? 2. If yes, where does this go in my regimen? (Day or night, before or after putting on the

  12. Hello everyone, I need help choosing what treatment is best for my acne scars. They look much better in the picture but are much darker when you meet me face to face. The camera has something to do with that I think. I just need help choosing what treatment works best for my scars and the enlarged pores/scarred pores. Thank you!
