  1. Two things : 1st - Your dermatologist knows MORE than you do. You're only 16. If he has assessed that the sevverity of your acne is not enough to send you accutane, then he's most likely right. 2nd - The possible PERMANENT side effects of roaccutane don't outweight the benefits. Really. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isotretinoin#Permanent_side_effects I'm 22 and i still have some acne left (nowhere near to when i was 16) . I did accutane it for 4 days (started 1st of feb), and now i'm havin
  2. Most people are not completely satisfied with one treatment, consider it a failure and do not return to post. Fractionalized Ablative CO2 is a long term process. People either have to expect 3-6 full blown high intensity treatments or they might as well do the silly OTC treatments. Thank you so much for the post Dudley. I was wondering if you could check my post http://www.acne.org/messageboard/index.php/topic/309771-my-scars-pics-how-im-gonna-get-rid-of-them/ , and tell me, from your experie
  3. Does subcision work for box scars? I've seen many images of people with scars like yours getting good improvements with subcision. (40-80%, ) Still, you should try to contact a dermatologist ). Good luck
  4. and what happened after this?
  5. Im going to a clinic where fractional CO2 laser and subcision/excision are performed ) . Im specially interested in CO2 laser because of guys like this http://www.cdc-clini...nated_co2_laser . (see first image). I have zillions of scars like that. Kinda like ice picks.. then some large, long ice picks... THose are the ones that annoy me the most. I think the dermatologist might actually treat me with fractional ablative CO2 laser. The consultation is still one week away. those B&A's look f
  6. Indeed, thanks for your comment. Your comment confirms my belief that there fraxel repair actually works. Otherwise, studies like http://www.skinthera...006/11.9/2.html wouldn't even be valid Hi Jrevor. I did take pictures but I don't think they came out that nice since I was taking pictures of myself. I've gotten a total of 6 fraxels done and there's a noticeable difference. Like I said in the post, Fraxel Restore will minimize your scars and make your scars better but it won't ever remove

  10. I know... ( . Well, at least you got the results after 4 months for the first patient for wrinkles... But i feel that, even the light conditions are different in purpose (
  11. Thanks for the post, AcnePolis. I was wondering if you have a photographic log where you keep track of your improvement, so i can assess the effectivity of your treatments,
  12. Thanks don, i hope you're right and I can get a normal looking skin in a couple of years. Honestly, I don't feel as bad as I did weeks ago, because I've seen a lot of people that have way worse and deeper scars than me.
