  1. I'm going to be using the olive oil to moisturize my skin on my face. I'm looking for a 100% natural/ pure olive oil brand. I have a few questions though on how I could tell whether the olive oil is 100% natural and unrefined. Does the colour of the Oil have to be green? I've seen olive oil brands where they are sorta yellow in colour. The olive oils that say it's extra virgin that I have found don't state the ingredient's. is that trustworthy? Are all olive oils in plastic bottles considered u
  2. Does anyone have any recommendations as to where they had purchased a good Derma stamp that has given good results. Or if anyone generally knows a site that offers good quality and trustworthy Derma Needling products. Good quality as in stainless steel, small in diameter of the needles, the right amount of needles on the product, etc. I was thinking of purchasing the Derma Stamp from this site: http://shop.owndoc.c...-pg1-cid48.html Can anyone confirm this is a good place to get a Derma N
  3. The person in the image is Not me but his scars/ large pores and where it is located is Very Very similar to mine and very munch looks like my skin texture. I have large pores on my inner cheeks on both sides and on my nose and no where else, as seen in the image. This area is Also Oily where as everywhere on my face is Not. (you can pretty much see the border of where the oiliness ends in direct light) The area where I circled and labelled 1 is the type of scarring that is VERY similar to mine
  4. Can anyone help me out, if you had any experience with plain yogurt. Or that you are using it right now. Much appreciated!
  5. If you do, I need some help to picking out a good plain yogurt at the store. Question 1: Out of the following 2 yogurts which one should I choose? They are both Plain Yogurt. Yogurt 1 Ingredients: Skim Milk, Milk Protein Concentrate, Whey Protein Concentrate, Agar, Pectin, Active Bacterial Cultures. Yogurt 2 Ingredients: Skim Milk, Bacterial Cultures. Question 2: Some plain yogurt would say 1% M.F M.G, 2% M.F M.G, or 0% M.f M.G. Which one should I choose? What do these Percents mean? Those
  6. Well after I put cucumber juice on my face, when it dries, it feels tight. Could this help maintain moisture in my skin? Could it help at all? Not exactly in the way you want it too. Cucumbers are good for reducing irritation and inflammation, but just putting on your face won't moisturise it. hmm, I was wondering though. What exactly is the purpose of a Toner? Because, I've seen in videos ,especially in DIY ones, where they would have a bottle of "water looking liquid" and they would appl

  8. What is the substance that your skin looks for to be hydrated? Is it water? Or is it your sebum? I heard that it is Water, but if that is the case, then can't I just grab some cucumber juice and dab it all over my face to hydrate it? Someone please explain! Thanks
  9. Not to any significant extent. Another of the famous studies by Kligman which I've talked about is the one where he found that you have to apply about TEN TIMES the normal amount of sebum onto a person's face (and, I might add, the face already produces a great deal of sebum) before there's even a noticeable amount of extra water retention. The fact that young, prepubertal children aren't exactly famous for having moisture-dry skin, and the fact that you have to apply ENORMOUS amounts of sebum
  10. I've been wondering this actually. I skimmed through the text but still don't quite understand so I'm just going to ask to answer the question directly. Does Sebum help moisturize the skin? Like when people say "you need to moisturize your skin" they are talking about Water right? Not oil? Cause I know oil and water are very different.
  11. Did you use it on Uneven area's ( if you had any) or purely on hyper-pigmentation/ dark spots? Also do you mix it with any thing or just plain aloe vera? Lastly, how long do/ did you leave it on for every night? EDIT: Also, how bad was your dark spots/ uneven areas before you used it? Any other tips and tricks you can tell me? Thanks! I applied it all over my face so it could help my skin overall plus my spots/hyperpigmentation. And I just apply plain old aloe vera. And I leave it on all nigh

  13. I'm currently using aloe vera straight from the plant mixed with billy bees honey (pure aloe feels tight and dryish on the face skin) for my dark pots. (though the dark spots are not recent- around 7-9 months old from whiteheads) I 'm wondering how long will it take until the aloe will make a noticeable difference to my hyper-pigmentation/ dark spots if anyone knows. Also how consistent will I have to use it? I know that it might not make a difference on the healing speed but since it doesn't
  14. This wouldn't really be great for acne prone people. The only realistic method in my opinion that I have found online to get rid of light acne scars is to really do mild to rough massages with olive oil on the scars. By really rubbing the olive oil, which contains vitamin K and E, you are really exfoliating and really forcing new skin out. I'm not sure if just simply putting on topical skin care products like vitamin serums or creams would really help. I think you really have to do deep M
  15. that's a good question, I also avoid the sun as much as possible. I've heard some people say wear sunscreen even if you step out for 30 seconds, I've heard some say that you would need an hour or more of sunlight to actually impact the marks. I think it's good to just put sunscreen on every time you step out but I'd be very very surprised if a couple of minutes of sun could do anything Yea I heard 30 seconds or an hour also. I sure hope I'm not the 30 seconds type. Also, I've always wondere
