  1. Did it work for you (if you've tried it yet?) I am having a problem with little red bumps on my face too (mainly upper cheek area). They're not like 'conventional' spots, and the regimen doesn't seem to be helping them, so I'm wondering if it's a different problem to acne. Maybe we're having the same problem? I haven't tried it, don't have the funds to buy anything new right now. I'm also hesitant of putting new products on my face that could potentially mess with my eczema But when i get some

  3. Hi again Been looking around the forums for some info on this. Stumbled into this thread: http://www.acne.org/messageboard/index.php/topic/309093-can-anybody-help-with-this-pic/ Somebody replied to the OP:
  4. Bump I was wondering whether this might be a mild reaction to the BP? I have never felt any side affects when using BP on my forehead, but it burned and tingled on my cheeks for the first couple of weeks. Now it seems okay, maybe a little tingling. Could the BP maybe be causing these little bumps? While my skin is definitely better spot-wise, I seem to be getting more of these little red bumps since using BP. But I think I do recall having some before I used it. Anyone else experience th
  5. I am having a problem with an ugly red mark that has lingered under my eye for about 3 months now. I think I got the spot back in October or something, so it has been ages now. The problem was that it didn't pop up in an ordinary place, but actually appeared on the delicate skin under the eye (where your 'bags' are) just above the cheek bone. At the time I thought this unusual, as I don't remember ever having a spot there before. Note that this was before I discovered this website and the regime
  6. Hi guys Been on the regimen for a few weeks with good results. Main problem area is forehead (was getting very spotty before) and BP has stopped any fresh spots emerging there (but might take a while for it to be fully clear). My other issue was some spots on my cheeks, fortunately I don't have any active spots there any more, but I have a real problem with red marks/blemishes there. Included in this problem are little red bumps on my face, mainly on the cheeks. I don't know what they ar
  7. Can I see a study that proves a complete absence of acne in underdeveloped countries, or a much lower rate than that of developed countries? As far as I can see this is just your own prejudice. The obvious answer in any case is that diet does not cause acne. But I imagine it can affect it if you are already prone to it.
  8. Okay guys I realized it wasn't a reaction to bio oil - it is the BP which causes my cheeks to go a bit red/tingle (though when I first started adding BP to my cheeks, bio oil on top wasn't a great idea). This also happens when just using BP and moisturizing regularly there, but not as bad as the first time. I didn't expect BP to do this because my forehead doesn't react AT ALL, so obviously different parts of the face are more sensitive. My question now is, is it okay for me to continue desp
  9. I did go for the Cetaphil moisturizer. I don't find it too greasy at all! In fact it's just right. Perhaps my skin isn't as oily as I thought! So just as a heads up for everyone, I would personally recommend this too.
  10. Hi guys, How many of you shave with your cleanser as Dan recommends? I started using Cetaphil gentle cleanser and I really like it, but it doesn't foam (and I kinda wish it did) so I can't shave with it. Basically I shave with an ordinary shaving gel (described as 'for sensitive skin'), cleanse after, then follow on with the regimen. Dan does recommend either Clean & Clear foaming facial cleanser or Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash as cleansers to shave with (I can't use his, I'm UK) bu
  11. Okay so I've been following Dan's three steps since the beginning of the week. Already I think it's working! But last night I had a horrid reaction to something. Basically, I wash my face with Cetaphil gentle cleanser, then use Oxy on the Spot 2.5% BP cream, which originally I had only been using on my forehead because that is the problem area (and I have been using it liberally there with no ill effects whatsoever and it is definitely helping already). Then I would use Bio Oil on my cheek area
  12. Thank you for your response, that helps a lot . Okay so I have all the stuff I need on its way. I chose: Cleanser: Cetaphil gentle cleanser BP: Oxy on the Spot 2.5% Moisturizer: Cetaphil moisturizing lotion And I have also purchased Bio Oil and AHA lotion (10%) to help with spot fade. Basically, I'll follow the regimen guidelines in washing my face with cleanser, adding the BP, then moisturizing. However, I don't think all areas need BP (mainly just forehead), whereas I really
  13. I picked up some Bio Oil and have ordered some AHA off the internet. Already tried the Bio Oil and really like it! Really seems to improve the texture of my skin right away.
