  1. I use Clean and Clear Oil-Free Foaming Facial Cleanser and their BP gel. I have really oily skin and I do not use a moisturizer. My skin feels normal after using the BP gel except for around my eyes. I don't put the BP gel anywhere near my eyes, but for some reason the skin gets dry around there. Any suggestions as to what moisturizer I should use for that area since I normally have oily skin? Also, I know it's not recommended to use both BP and Salicylic acid, but my skin can tolerate this co

  3. I worked at a Wendy's for 3 years. My skin didn't really seem to be affected too bad by it. I do suggest that you pay attention to NOT touching your face before you have washed your hands. It's so easy to touch your face and not realize it...like if you have an itch or whatever. Washing your face afterwards is good too.
  4. I only use moisturizer around my eyes and a small bit on my cheeks at night and in the morning.
  5. I took accutane as a teen for moderate acne ten years ago. While I was on it, my skin actually got worse, which they said was the last bit of acne getting out of my pores. The last 2 months I was on it, my skin really cleared up. I had no problems afterwards with my skin. I mean, it wasn't perfect and I still had the occasional breakout, but nothing like before. Now, my skin seems to have gotten just a slight bit worse than the occasional breakout, but nothing is wrong with my body from taking
  6. I had mild to moderate acne as a teenager and had some scarring. Even now when I get breakouts (which is often but not like before), it leaves a light scar. The only thing you can do is wait for it to fade which can take a year, or you can get a tan. I always find that in the summertime when I get a tan, the scars seem to fade to nothing. Also, I have heard of this stuff they sell over the counter called Mederma (?), and it's suppossed to get rid of scars. I've never tried it though.
  7. When I was a teenager I did accutane and it really worked for me. Ten years later, I'm having adult acne...not nearly as bad as when I went on Accutane, but more than I think is normal. My doctor told me back then that sometimes it's possible that another round of Accutane needs to be done but everybody is different. Maybe you should try the regimen while going back to your doctor about more accuante. I don't think there's anything better than accutane though.
  8. I have always had extremely oily skin as well. I am only using mosturizer around my eyes and a tiny bit on my cheeks. I use Clinique mosturizer and it works well for me. Clinique's stuff is really good for people with oily skin. I also find that Purpose Cleansing Wash and Clean & Clear Oil Free wash are great face soaps for oily skin.
