  1. I've been using it now for a couple of weeks and I like it so far. I've seen a lot of improvement and I have really, really, dark marks. Here's my review on it here and how I use it:
  2. I've been using tretinoin for 2 years now and I don't see much improvement in my scarring with it. :/
  3. I don't think it's that noticeable. Perhaps you need to exfoliate then apply a good night cream and use a good day time moisturizer to get rid of the dry skin but I think your skin looks great. :)
  4. Maybe try the basal body temperature birth control method. This method has to be followed very carefully in order to be effective.
  5. I've used tea tree oil as a spot treatment in the past and it worked ok to dry up active breakouts but it didn't cure my acne.
  6. I really like the Burt's Bees Cleansing Oil. I can get EVERYTHING off with one product quickly and I don't have rub on my skin too much. I love it! It takes me like 2 mins max and I wear a lot of makeup lol
  7. Makeup Forever Matte Velvet worked the best for me while on Accutane. I needed full coverage due to all my acne scarring. My skin was so dry so I used Aquaphor under my makeup. If your skin is dry I would stay away from powder based foundations and lean more toward liquids and creams. Clinique makes really good skin care oriented foundations as well.
  8. I used to get blue light therapy at my old dermatologist office. I think it did help some. I'd actually love to find a good at home device too. I've been thinking of purchasing this one: [Edited link out]
  9. I second visiting a dermatologist. They'll be able to tell you the right medication for your skin. I was on antibiotics before accutane and they did help somewhat but they didn't get rid of my acne. I can say everything that I tried from the dermatologist was way better for my acne than over the counter products because of how severe my acne was. Good luck! :)
  10. Drinking alcohol? I wouldn't recommend it. Drinking alcohol can dehydrate you and that's the last thing you want while on accutane.
  11. Did you use clindamycin before or after mino and doxy. I'm planning on using it but don't know if it'll work since I'm immune to doxy and mino I was on Clindamycin right before I went on Accutane and it worked great! If I missed a day or two the acne would reappear so I don't know that it is a long term fix. As far as antibiotics i've tried Minocycline. It didn't seem to work as well as the doxy which also only helped while I was taking it. The acne would return after I stopped taking it. I

  14. Great tips! I just would like to add to #2 -- Aquaphor lip balm W/ SPF has worked pretty good for me.
  15. I have to have my blood work done every month. My doctor reviews the results and then confirms me in the iPledge system. Such a pain. lol
