I'm a guy. 23. Most of my acne (of 8 or 9 years) has gone. I get occasional few, and whiteheads that aren't too troublesome. That being said, it has left me with a bad emotional state/ not much confidence. I'm getting much better over time, but most of my social life has been effected by it. At the moment I have 1 small, but noticeable scar. The little deep "hole" kind of thing doesn't bother me, but it is pigmented. I have light Asian/ tanned Italian skin and it is kind of "sticking out". R

Hi, I have had this red/purplish pigmentation where I had a spot/wound from foolishly picking it too much. It has left a tiny "dip" (scar). Is there any way I can speed up the healing process for the pigmentation to go. I have had it for just over 5 months. It's not going I was so foolish, and now I'm really regretting it. I was on my way to getting clear skin, and this is so annoying! Worst thing I have ever done. Any peroxides or chemicals I can use? I don't even mind paying for laser

Just done some research on PIH. It seems to be that. Is there any medication I can get? My spots don't usually take this long to fade. i think it was because I really went at this one, it was more of a "severe" wound I caused, rather than picking at a spot. ?

Thanks Still some work to be done, exercise and lots of water has helped me. Yes, I think it's more of a bad pigmentation than a scar. A bad pigmentation. Reddish/purplish :/
