  1. the way someone's skin looks means absolutely nothing? then why are you on this website? why would you even say something so incredibly stupid and obviously untrue? Now you're just being a douchebag. What a crass thing to say to someone who was being kind and offering legitmate insight. Stop trying to have a pity party thrown for yourself and get over yourself. Boo-hoo, you have acne. People have too many of their own issues to give a shit about your pizza face. The only people who care about y
  2. Yeah. No. I don't know where you get that. There are many ways diet affects acne besides food intolerance which you might not even have. Granola bars are usually very high glycemic, which should be avoided for acne and absolutely everything else to do with your health. In addition to being filled with grains that you might have an intolerance for or impaired ability to digest. And you shouldn't fill up on such nearly empty calories. As I stated, I got that from reading the forums. Also
  3. Kittyx3

pH of 5.00 +/- 0.3 Hypoallergenic Non comedogenic Leaves my skin feeling clean Easy to find in the UK It's a little expensive, but not too bad as it lasts forever! I finally feel like I've found a good cleanser. It's gel based and you work it into a lather. My skin always feels clean afterwards. It also hasn't annoyed my eczema or broken me out. It's to soon to tell if it has improved my pimples but even if it doesn't I will continue to use. My skin already looks healthier.
  4. I use Avene Cleananse Gel Soapless Cleanser. It has a pH of 5,00 +/- 0.3 It's also hypoallergenic and non comedogenic. The ingrediants are listed here http://www.avene.co....ss-Gel-Cleanser If you wanna check them out!
  5. Ohh nevermind. I contacted the makers of some cleansers I had lieing around the house Turns out my Avene Cleananse Gel Soapless Cleanser has a pH of 5,00 +/- 0.3 It's also hypoallergenic and non comedogenic. It can be bought in Boots for around £8-9 Just incase anyone from the UK is interested.
  6. I'm looking for a pH balanced cleanser, mild, non irritating. (pH of like 4.0-5.5) It seems near impossible to find one as most cleansers don't list their pH. Or say they are pH balanced but in reality have a pH of 7.2 or something. Anyway, does anyone know of a decent one I could get? I have looked into Dans cleanser, but its just way to expensive to ship to the UK. Sorry if this is in the wrong section btw Thanks!
  7. Sorry I just don't think thats true. My best friend, had really severe cystic acne and body acne. It's not so bad now but still not totally gone. But he kept smiling, met peoples eyes and generally just didn't let it interfere with how he acted. Did he have a problem with girls? Some wouldn't give him the time of day because of it, but he wasn't interested in someone like that. He has been with his current gf for about 5 years now.
  8. Well...I read it all but have you read through any of the logs in Diet/Holistic section? Some people have great success on clearing their acne. It may just be that your acne isn't caused by food or internal problems like Candida. Like my skin, no matter what I eat or don't eat it remains the same. I don't think you should blantly say it dosen't work at all, because it does for those who have food intolerances/allergies to certain foods. It just dosen't work for everyone and works for some (L
  9. 'Cause we're not all superficial? The way someones skin looks means absolutely nothing. You could have perfect skin and be a jerk, you wouldn't want to go out with someone horrible. If someone is kind or funny or sweet. That means so much more than their skin. Anyway, would you really want someone who judged you totally on your looks and didn't look any deeper?
  10. As far as I can work out from these forums, food only makes you break out if you're intolerant/allergic to something in the ingrediants. Main thing people have problems with is dairy it seems. If you do break out, don't take it as a bad thing. Then you'll know what you're sensitve to and can avoid in future. Tbh, I have mild acne as well and food dosen't make me break out, I think you'll be okay Especially if it's just one a day.
  11. Yes yes come join us. We have...uhm..pencils and cookies
  12. You sound a lot like me lol. I've tried pretty much everything on your list hehe. But just recently I went to the doctors, have you tried antibiotics yet? I felt like it was the only option left to me. You may want to look into that But if you don't want to go down that road, you could look into making some diet changes to see if that helps. There is a bunch of information in the Diet & Holistic bit on forums :3
  13. Couldn't agree more. Just throw some BP on it once a day and leave it alone. It will go away by itself if you stop poking it =)
  14. Cheeks. Always scar when they're on the cheeks
  15. Hey Kittyx3, what antibiotics are ya taking and whats the dosage? Thanks! I'm trying Erythromycin 250mg a day. Apparntly they work fast (but don't work for long, like 3-4 months) Doc said I should have seen results by a week, why I was excited my skin was clear yesterday. But alas, I woke up today and poked my face & now its a mess. WHY do I do this to myself? :\ Maybe I should start a skin picking log to try and stop the temptation. Day 12 and counting..
