  1. I agree with you that the redness does make them look worse. I think even after a year there is still time for it to get better.
  2. Hey guys, just to emphasize the point. I'm very serious about the working out. I had a period where I was hitting the gym 3-4 times a week and a period in which I stopped, and when I was working out, my acne was better, my red spots cleared faster, and my scars healed faster.
  3. Hello everyone. I haven't been on this site in a while, but when I come on this scar forum I see everyone messing around with different treatments and some even messing up their faces. I thought this was an important message that you guys need to hear. Scars do heal by themselves I have had acne for about 2 years and now it is clearing up. I have had many scars left from the acne, but slowly but surely I see them filling in and changing shape as time goes by. While my scars have not comple
  4. cause of acne is hormonal due to weak liver/adernal glands and vitamin deficiency. You need to treat it internally. Get a good juicer start juicing vegetables. Do not overdose and drink one glass of fresh vegetable juice everyday. My recipe is carrot, celery, cucumber, 1/4 beet and maybe pinch of dandelion greens. Juicing book website have great recipes. If you cannot afford making fresh juice everyday drink wheat grass juice from amazing grass and carrot juice although they are not potent as fr
  5. ...and it's simpler than you might think. Forget all the medications and fancy diets. I've tried all sorts of things and none of them work as well as this simple fix: Sleep on your back, without your pillow What is acne? It's inflammation of the skin. What causes inflamation? Irritation. What is the one thing that is in contact with and rubs against the skin on your face every single day? Your pillow. Let me tell you how I came to this conclusion. I knew that irritation had something to do wi
  6. Sorry, I didn't take any pictures. I tried but the camera couldn't really capture the scarring well so I decided not to (it's just one icepick scar).
  7. Hopefully I will get some correct needles in the future. I'm hoping that this technique will work as well on rolling scars as it did on this icepick scar (I have a lot more rolling than icepick scars).
  8. Nice thread! To be honest though, I don't see too much of a difference between your third picture and the last (with 3 subcisions in between). Is it the camera angle? How much of a difference do you think it's made?
  9. Hey Matt, thanks for the update. I would like to echo mooboo119 here because his question wasn't answered yet. Basically, will subcision work for very shallow scars that can only be seen in certain lights? I have heard conflicting reports. Some people have said very shallow scars are the ones that improved the most, while others say that subcision on shallow scarring will cause more trouble than good. Again, thanks!
  10. I will keep you guys updated, but I won't be posting daily because it's impossible to tell improvement on a day-to-day basis (and it kinda annoys me when other people post daily in their logs). I'll get back to you guys perhaps in a week or when I start to see results.
  11. Hey guys, so I found an old thread started by Dan that's pretty similar to this thread: http://www.acne.org/messageboard/index.php/topic/9590-post-your-positive-scar-treatment-results-here/ There's some good stuff in it but unfortunately its 8 years old so people haven't posted in it for a long time. Perhaps a mod could merge this thread into that one?
  12. Let us know how it works out! What kind of laser is this and how does it work?
