  1. Believe me, I never in my life thought I'd be making a post like this; a kind of "success story." That kind of thing was for other people. But years later here I am. I'm not completely out of the woods yet. But I'd say I'm at the treeline. So I learned some things that may or may not help you. All I can say is what worked for me. For some context, let me just say it was bad. Who knows exactly where I fall on that spectrum of suffering, but I distinctly remember one kid describing my face
  2. Thanks for the reply; yeah redness is the worst. I hope things work out for you! I just bought a 30% glycolic acid peel w/ a 10% glycolic toner. We'll see how it works out.
  3. I could REALLY use some help. Here's my story. I got inflammatory acne starting probably around the age of 16. Was prescribed the usual by derms, and nothing worked. Face just slowly got worse. Just some context, and this kind of sucks to admit, but I have no one to blame but myself for not treating my face right from age 15 to 18. I never washed my face once during those years; I didn't think guys did that sort of thing with cleanser and whatnot. Water hits your face in the shower, doesn't
  4. I'm pretty much in the same boat. Yeah it sucks. I tried a derm-recommended Gemini laser for 300 bucks, which was supposed to reduce redness after a month. It didn't do anything for me, but I hear it's different for everybody so don't let my case stop you. Right now I've kind of just given up and am just exfoliating once a day and taking a multi-vitamin (my logic is the vitamin e should help at least a little). If that somehow gives me some improvement, or I find something else that does
