  1. I agree. If you know subcision/punch grafting is right for your scars then I say go for it. You're not going to find any qualified docs in the DC Metro area that do this other than Dr. Weiss. Good luck.
  2. Ditto, I still get big pimples on my chin and pick at them as well but don't scar....knock on wood. I'm free of acne on everywhere else of my face besides the chin area. Perhaps the skin is thicker on the chin area? Hell, I don't know.
  3. Congratulations, Drew. You are one crazy SOB. So I take it the needling didn't go so well?
  4. GT, I've never had this done but I know someone that has seen Dr. Weiss about subcision (Goblin). I'm not sure if they actually had it done but I do know for a fact that he does subcision. PM Goblin and she can give you a better idea.
  5. Yes, Dr. Weiss is very well know reputable Dr. I've never even heard of Dr. Gerrish before. I hope he isn't another Dima Ali.

Gregg, who did your injections? thanks.
  7. Where did you get a microdermabrasion machine? aren't they expensive?
  8. Thanks for the update. Your skin is looking great. Did you get the full power PSR setting? It looks like you did from the redness and peeling but in your first post you said you were having the PSR 1 setting.
  9. I'm thinking about buying this stuff. I haven't used anything on my face in the last few years but I'm starting to break out on my chin area. The CSR works okay but it's such a hassle and it drys my skin out. Has anyone tried this stuff and what have you used the gel or liquid. Also, I'm going to use it at night. Is it okay to apply a moisturizer after? How long does it take to dry once applying the gel or liquid? thanks.
  10. I'm not trying to be a downer here but the CSR is more effective than the Proactive regimen. Proactive will work depending on the severity of your acne. I used it for 3 years and kept me pretty clear, although, not completely clear. I had mild acne, too. When I found the CSR, it worked much better than proactive. the proactive toner has glycolic acid in it and I don't believe my skin handles that very well. good luck in whatever you decide.
  11. that's good to hear, kingzig. does he do the fraxel in his manassas or vienna office? how long does he recommend to wait in between treatments? good luck!
  12. Ouch, $1100 for one treatment of fraxel! Does he do any other scar procedures? You would think that being 45 minutes outside of the city that it would be cheaper. i know there is a lady that does fraxel in fredericksburg if you're willing to travel that far. don't know the price but i remember she was the cheapest for smoothbeam 2 years ago. i'm still trying to figure out why i went to dr. ali.
