  1. I tried BP and it burnt my skin. I looked like I had sunburn. I was really upset, especially because this site raves about it so much, but it burnt my skin TERRIBLY. I wasn't using too much (in fact, I was being extra careful to use it sparingly because I hate putting chemicals on my face, but I was feeling desperate). Just wanted to let you know you're not alone. Alot of topical treatment irritates my face, too.
  2. Thank you - do you think Dan's regimen would help my skin at all?
  3. I'm the same! My forehead and chin get really dry really quickly. But the rest of my body is pretty normal.
  4. Thanks for your kind words I'm already taking birth control, which I've been on for around 5 years. It cleared up most of my terrible acne when I was younger. I have tried a few different birth control pills to see if any of them clear my skin completely - but none of them do. I do get more breakouts around that time of the month, but I also get them randomly at other times. I have thought my acne might be hormonal for a while now. But I've tried birth control and it didn't seem to wor
  5. My make-up always looks fine on my cheeks but whenever it touches my chin, forehead or nose, it automatically looks scaly, like lizard skin! I have tried mixing my foundation with moisturizer - didn't work. I've tried different foundations (including mineral make-up) - they all ended up scaly. Does anyone have any tips? I'm using salyctic acid products to treat my acne, but even before I started using that treatment I had this issue. EDIT: I forgot, I ALWAYS moisturize before make-up.
  6. My skin always clears up when I go on holiday, too. I live in a really rainy place and it's hardly ever sunny, so when I go away my skin always thanks me for it!

  8. Can anyone tell me what kind of acne I have and the best way to treat it? My skin used to be a hell of a lot worse than this, which has made me really insecure. I'm well aware that it's not as bad as some people at this forum, though. I'm 21 and I've struggled with my skin since age 12 (though back then my face was alot worse). I've never posted pictures of my skin online like this before, and I'm feeling a bit self concious about it but here you go. Hope you can give me some tips for my ski
