Why is it not recommended to apply retinoids onto wet or damp skin? And why are you supposed to wait 20 minutes or so before applying moisturizer after you've applied the retinoid? Is it because the retinoid won't be as effective or because it will increase skin irritation? I have had mixed information about this.
