  1. Thanks for blogging about your journey with Retin-A. I'm on my 4th week now and my skin has never looked worse! It's very red and dry all the time. I too use Cetaphil wash, I was using their moisturizer but my derm wants me to use SPF during the day and gave me samples of Cerevae day lotion which i don't really like. What SPF do you use or do you use any? How do you keep yourself from picking? I'm having major issues with that. I've been a picker my whole life and I don't know how to stop Th
  2. Thanks so much for the advice everyone! I am using Dan's regimen and I'm going to stick with it (even though it's really hard!)......I know the results are worth the wait but i am getting sick of people asking me why my face is soo red! The breakouts have decreased in frequency. I was getting new pimples (plural) every morning. Now it's really only one a day. I just hope it stops soon! I'll keep ya'll up to date on my progress
  3. I've been using the Regimen for 8 weeks exactly and my face is still breaking out and very red. I follow it to the T and have taken the quizzes and researched this website over and over again for something I might be doing wrong. I don't want to give up because clear skin may be right around the corner but I'm getting very frustrated and I'm worried that it's never going to work. Any advice?? Depressed and don't know what to do
  4. Thanks for the advice. I really don't know what's going on. The only thing I have messed up on was missing a morning last weekend because we went camping. Otherwise towels, pillow cases, sheets....anything that touches my face is always clean! I won't even makeout with my husband at this point because i don't want to cause irritation. I mean my face went from a couple zits a month to TONS!!! I've always had oily skin and I went through a dry period when i first started this in July but now
  5. Hi everyone, I've been using the Regimen for 2 months now and my skin does not seem to be getting any better. I started using it to clear my "monthly" breakouts and now I wake up with a new break out every morning! This never happened to me before! I also went off my birth control this past April so I would think my hormone levels should be equaling out by now. Any advice? How much longer should I use this? HELP!
  6. Day 14 and it's that time of the month. I had a 6 zit breakout a couple of days ago. They are almost gone and normally wouldn't have been if it weren't for the Regimen. I started using the full amount of BP today because my skin wasn't having hardly any of the adverse side effects that people were talking about. (peeling, redness, itching) I think that may be why I broke out. Had a small breakout of 2 zits on my back so I'm starting the Regimen on my back today too. I also don't think
  7. Well everything seemed to be going great as far as that time of the month goes until I woke up this morning and found another small cystic like pimple on my left cheek. I tried to let it go and just put BP on it ( a lot of it) and my husband isn't home and his cell phone is broken (he's the one that ususally keeps me out of the bathroom when I want to "pick") so 20 mins later I was in front on the mirror poking and prodding the thing! I'm sure it's going to look much worse in a couple of hou
  8. Well didn't get much sleep because I had to take some friends to the airport this morning around 3am. But was able to sleep til about 2pm when I got back from the drive. Also woke up with a new pimple on my right cheek that was pretty big. Put lots of BP on it and it seems to be stopped in its tracks! I have to work tonight so I'm hoping it won't get worse while I'm there. Good news...I received Dan's BP today in the mail. It's really a great product. Goes on nice and smooth and clear
  9. After years and years of dealing with Acne I finally came across this website and decided why not? I mean I've tried everything else besides going to a Derm (which I can't afford) and nothing has worked, so it can't hurt to try this! Let me start of with my story, although I'm sure there have been enough tear jerkers on here that everyone is about done sobbing, but maybe it will help me emotionally to get it all out. I've had some form of Acne for as long as I can remember and have always
