      AHA is now available

OK, I just wanted to chime in here since I've been using this product for the last couple of weeks (not every day since I also use BHAs & retinol). I love love love this product. I found that Dan's moisturiser was a bit irritating for me (no idea why) and also not moisturising enough... but this stuff is really great. It doesn't break me out, it's moisturising enough for me and it stings just the right amount to know that it's working. Other AHAs (notably Alpha Hydrox) irritated my skin to t

      Salicylic Acid Wash

I think, (and I stress THINK) that this is incorrect....I know that you cannot use Retin-A and bp at the same time. But I'm fairly certain SA and BP at the same time are fine. In fact, I think the lipid-penetrating effect of SA may actually help deliver the BP deeper into the pores. you're right, HH. SA and BP can definitely be used together, although they can be overdrying. When I was on the regimen, I used both morning & night, and that was the best for my skin. I did see a lot o

        Moisturizer Recomendantions

I like the Olay Regenerist SPF 15. I recently bought the Clinique City Block which is tinted and has SPF 40. I've been using it about a month or a bit more... and I really like it so far. The SPF is titanium dioxide and zinc oxide rather than avobenzene, so it doesn't break me out. Plus, if you buy it and it doesn't work for you, they'll let you return it (I think for 30 days).

        ingrown hairs

Hi Ari! How's it going? The recipe is really good - I just rub it on with a cotton ball but you could get a little spray bottle instead if you prefer. The little machine kind of hurts - I no longer find waxing painful after so long but I found this stung a little bit - nothing unbearable though. And it probably took about 20 minutes to do both my legs. From now on though I'm just going to do weekly touchups (since I don't have to shell out $50 a time in some salon) and I think it should only

        ingrown hairs

so I've been waxing my legs longer than some of you have been alive and I have this tendency to get ingrown hairs which is really really annoying. I've tried all kinds of stuff with varying levels of success, including loofahs, scrubs etc. etc. Anyway I was googling around looking for some sort of product and I came across a recipe for homemade TendSkin (which costs like $25 or something for a little bottle at sephora.com). Here it is:
