  1. Thank you very much. I can cope with a little initial breakout, provided it stays in the chin area. Did your breakout spread to other parts? At what stage did you get the initial breakout and was it cyst type spots or just normal?

  3. Thank you for your reply Jxr. I have to go and have my bloods done again this week and then if they are clear hopefully I can start taking the drug next week. I have it all ready but just not allowed to take it yet. This morning I have woken with a smallish but massively painful red lump right in the centre of my chin. It throbs when I bend down. I can't put up with this much longer so I think I will give the drug a chance. My main concern is an initial breakout, interestingly my derm said
  4. Hi, I am in a similar position. Waiting to start the drug (bloods not come back clear so have to have them re-done) but I am unsure. I am worried about the side effects and potential damage that could be done to my body, but at the same time I cannot go on anymore with the pain my skin causes me.   5. No-one? Well there was a slight hiccup. My bloods didnt come back clear. I have elevated lipids so I cant start accutane until I have another test that comes back clear. Having test again this week. Really wish I could just start this drug. Sick of being in pain with my skin.
  6. Hi, I am new here and really needing some advice about where to go with my acne problem. I am a 26 year old female who has suffered from acne for a long time. I had the usual as a teenager and then it cleared up. Then it went out of control at about the age of 18-19. It cleared again a little in my early twenties but came back a couple of years ago.
