  1. Thank you mother Nature!

I've been suffering from acne for the past 9 years. It wasn't until I decided to let nature take its course and stop all of the unnatural treatments (BP, birth control salicylic acid cleansers, anything "acne" related) about 3 years ago, that my skin finally showed some improvements. But I still wasn't happy. Recently I was going through a good phase when all of the sudden (4 months ago) I started getting crazy cystic pimples along my jawline and cheeks, my skin had never looked like that. I wa

    Doing good

My skin is doing great. It's finally used to the Epiduo! One little problem is that sometimes I pop blackheads, and I have long nails so you can already imagine the mess. I have one small scab in one cheek, and then I have one small papule forming in my forehead (which is kind of hurting, so I decided to put the Epiduo on just that pimple during the day). The pimple formed because it was a failed attempt at popping a blackhead. Moral of the story: Don't PICK at your skin. I already promised mys
  3. So last night my face did not burn at all when I applied the Epiduo. This morning after I washed my face I also noticed that the dryness is really going away. I remember yesterday it was maybe 5/10 of dryness, today I can say that it's at a solid 3/10 (0-10, 0 being not dry at all) I did get one new pimple on my forehead, an inflamed whitehead. I also had these two huge pimples two weeks before I started Epiduo which weren't making any progress, and as of today they're finally gone. There's j

    Getting Better

I forgot to mention in my first post that I have mild to moderate acne. My pores are large and I have a lot of blackheads. Every once in a while I'll get some papules or pustules. Birth Control really keeps my acne at bay, but I still have acne-like skin. Unfortunately I stopped birth control, so we'll see what happens. Anyway, my skin was really dry this week because of the Epiduo. I started using a moisturizer during the day along with the sunscreen and I think that helped. My skin doesn't

    First week

On May 18, I was prescribed Epiduo as well as Doryx 150mg, both once daily. What drove me to the dermatologist was the desire to get off birth control. On Sunday May 22, I finished my birth control and decided that I was just gonna stop taking it. So far I've seen a slight decrease in the size of my pores along the nose. My skin is really dry and somewhat blotchy. The dryness is enough that my PCA Skin SPF 15 moisturizer is able to hide it. I have some burning when I apply it at night but it
