    I have had cystic acne for 16 years now. I heard that taking MSM supplements would help but I am getting dime sized cysts on my face again. I have been on the MSM for 2 weeks now not seeing any improvements, it's actually getting worse. Anyone with experience on using MSM?

    I don't get it. I gave up gluten but my adult cystic acne got worse. Has anyone else had this problem?

    I finally found something that works for my cystic acne. I celebrated my 30th birthday with fairly clear skin. I swithched topicals to Tazorac with bp wash. I use the following supplements from my holistic doctor: Progesterone B (14 days before cycle) DIM Supreme Folopro (folate) Calcium D-Glucarate D3 2500 mg Cod Liver Oill I still have the scarring from 15 years of cystic acne to deal with but I am doing a lot better! God has answered my prayer. And when I say God I mean Jesus Christ!

    Hey Amara, I'm doing good but I am considering going on accutane for a second time. We will see. The holistic approach is not enough to knock this down.

    Hmmmm, didn't know that. But I still don't want to go on it because of the affects on my reproductive systems. It's a woman thing....Thanks.

    I have tried it all. I have cystic acne and have been suffering for 18 years with it. I haven't had clear skin since I was 13. I went on accutane in 2004 and it cleared up for a little but now I am desparate and am willing to try anything. I am currently using: Topicals: Aczone Finacea Clindamyacin Pads Sulfur wash BP wash I was taking an antibiotic but I stopped it because it wasn't doing anything. Herbal Supplement: Progesterone Cod Liver Oil Vitamin D Multivitamin DIM Calcium Folapro

    I am feeling bad today. I looked in the mirror and I have 4 active cysts. I feel bad because I am turning 30 next week and I have never known a time when I haven't had severe acne on my cheeks. My acne started when I was 13. It cleared a little when I was on Accutane but it came back with a vengence 2 years later. I was doing well last week because I started a new treatment but now I have lost hope again.

    hi how are you doing, is the holistic regimen helping so far or is it too early to tell?

    I have been taking vit B complex and zinc and Spirulina, going pretty well so far.
