  4. Hey Jennifer, glad to hear things are going well. Yeah, I also started doing Spirulina masks 1 week ago. I mix it with a little bit clay (Fullers Earth Clay) and water an apply it to my face, wait until it hardens (20 minutes) and then wash it off. And also my skin is glowing thereafter and is super soft! I look funny with the mask on (swamp monster, lol) but it is really worth it. The redmarks fade rapidly.   6. Hi Jennifer, Hi Tim, I received my Spirulina powder today as well. I mixed 9 grams of it with 1 tbsp of Rice Protein + 1 banana + 2 cups of water + 1 drop of Stevia and I nearly vomited. It was so disgusting. Before I took Spirulina tablets (500mg per tablet) / 12 per day which was more convenient but also more expensive. Not sure how to mask the flavour. It also smells disgusting.
  7. Why should someone get weak bones due to calcium deficiency?!? Haven't you looked on the nutritional data which moonbase posted above?? He is getting nearly 1300mg (129% RDA) of Calcium per day. You can get enough Calcium even without dairy...
  8. I have acne since puberty but it was never severe, just mild. It is moderate-severe since only a few months (I think since April 2011). I can show you pictures from February 2011 where my skin was almost perfect (oily but acne free). I don't know what happened to my skin in April, I didn't change my diet then... I didn't eat eggs since 4-5 days and dairy since 2 weeks now (when I started the diet). I am going to send you a private message as regards meat and fish.
  9. I somehow believe that food doesn't affect my acne. I am getting new cysts (around 2-3) every day even though I eat ONLY fruits, veggies and sweet potatoes. No sugar, no dairy, no wheat, no grains, nada. At first I thought its getting better but meanwhile there is no further improvement. I am really depressed at the moment.
  10. I am glad to hear that you are fine. Yesterday and today I ate quite a lot, so that I was never hungry. I mostly eat fruits and vegetables, also sweet potatoes twice a day. Eggs only every second day. However I think that I do not eat more than 1500 calories. But I promise to eat more. I hope my skin will improve further and not starting to get worser again.

  12. Hi Jennifer, did you find spirulina in your health food store? As regards food suggestions: Do you eat avocados? I like eating salads with avocados, chickpeas, tomatoes, peppers, onions and garlic. I also often make scrambled eggs with onions and veggies. Not sure if you eat eggs though.   14. Hi Jennifer I will be following your log. I have started an anti-inflammatory and almost vegan diet on September 25th, so nearly at the same time like you. I'm a vegetarian since 25 years (I am 31 now). I was eating dairy every day (especially cheese which I love!) and whole wheat bread. Now I totally stopped eating dairy and wheat.
