  1. I usually break out a week before my period, and my skin clears up (well clear to me, at least) when I get my period and after it ends.
  2. Has anyone seen any success with mud masks? I am going to start using Formula 10.0.6 Deep Down Detox Ultra-Cleansing Mud Mask! It uses orange and bergamot. Has anyone ever used this product?
  3. Pretty much what the Topic says! What's your favorite bronzer to use on your skin?
  4. I am sick with "the mono" as my lovely doctor had phrased, and therefore I've been quarantined! I'll be stuck in my house for a few weeks, so I want to have some things to do! I plan on pampering myself, because that sounds infinitely better than sulking away a good portion of my summer. So spa days it is! Anyway, tl;dr: What are some nice facial masks that you use/make? What are the ingredients (if you make it, especially) and what are the effects of the creation? Also, if you have any
  5. Hi! I just have a few questions, I hope you don't mind. How many sweet potatoes are good a day? You say you can eat them daily, in moderation. Just want to check what the 'moderation' entails, lol. Also, aren't sweet potatoes high GI foods? What about coconut oil? How much is too much for one day's consumption? Should I avoid extra virgin olive oil completely? And are free-range/organic eggs fine for breakfast? Thanks, Julie
  6. just wondering about this aren't apples full of sugar?
  7. Is rice gluten? Naw, gluten is gluten, Oh, but it's a grain, and should be avoided?
  8. Get sweet potatoes for one thing. They are cheap, can be microwaved if that's all you have and you can have them for any meal. They make a great breakfast for those that like a sweet carby thing in the morning. I love them with chili powder or spicy seasoned salt. Do you have a fridge? Freezer? Stove? And if you want a short list of foods to buy, try sticking to a handful of hypo-allergenic, nutrient dense foods. I was going to provide you with a link to a thread with info on that, but with the
  9. I've already tested my hormones by an endocrinologist, which is how I know I produce too much testosterone. i've been prescribed BCP, consequently. Not sure what PCOS is :/ Should I also test for vitamin/nutrient deficiency? And I'm taking Monodox (Doxycycline 75). Do you think this may be damaging anything? And thank you so much for responding. I truly appreciate it. I'm stressing myself out so badly right now, because I keep reading how diet can truly help you, but I don't have the money or me
  10. I guess my diet is pretty unhealthy. I eat too much sugar. No soda or candy, but things like (dairy-free) chocolate chips and orange juice and strawberry jam and peanut butter. And fruit. Love fruit! I also eat a lot of eggs and usually put ketchup on them. And I don't buy them organically. I have been eating a lot of nuts/seeds/beans lately. Peanuts, kidney beans, black beans, almonds... And rice. What's the best kind of rice? I avoid gluten and have absolutely NO dairy. I don't eat
