  1. Makeup can't really cover anything protruding from the skin but can only cover pigmentation issues. It's not really about what brand of foundation you use, as long as it's light and creamy if you have dry skin and powdery if you have oily skin. I think it's all about the technique, when ever I wear make-up, I stipple the foundation on. This technique minimized how much foundation you use so your skin texture doesn't look terrible, which happens when you use a lot of foundation, the less foundat
  2. Some people can't get away with eating one small treat...I am beginning to realize how sensitive I am to a lot of types of food. I discovered that I can't eat eggs, raisins, dried fruit, olives, salt, or nuts/seeds without breaking out and I can't eat salmon either. Fruit and raw vegetables are the only things I know for sure are safe to eat. It's really depressing that I can't even have a few raisins when I want something sweet. I am still experimenting with cooked vegetables and meat but I f

  6. fruit salad and raw vegetable salad and water and sunflower seeds and raisins. I'm almostttttt totally clear.
  7. I find that wheat, starch, grains, dairy, refined/natural sugar, dried fruit cause acne mostly. Among other things
  8. I really like head and shoulders it makes my hair soft...but i only shamppoo like 2wice a week or else it will get too dry
  9. I have these raised very tiny bumps on my forhead, they are the size of the ballpoint of a pen, VERY small, but they make the texture of my skin look horrible. I also have shallow scarring and rolling scars and indents, and a terrible rough skin texture...is there any products you can recommend? Or treatments? I have really rough skin and skin that is very damaged from having acne.
  10. thats great that only soda breaks you out lol. I stopped drinking it at 10 when I was old enough to know better, it tastes nasty too
  11. jojoba oil isn't working because it just wipes off. Is it possible to get my skin to start producing oil by itself? I will try anythinggggg.
  12. I love this topic because asians are the people that are known to have perfect skin. I read that rice is a relatively new food so they couldn't have eaten it for very long enough to cause acne/health issues. today, there are tons of asians that eat crap and still don't breakout because of their strong genetics. There ansestors have been eating healthy for such a long time that it would take many generations of eating the western diet to cause acne in their offspring. They eat a lot of raw ve
  13. Fruit & vegetable juice and water I'm on day 3 of my juice fast !
  14. Imo fish oil pills are not healthy, at all. Do a little research on here, they aren't really the "health boosters" they seem to be. And make sure you eat a lot of meat (preferably organic), and try to avoid eating too much fruit it should be eaten very minimally. I don't know about that. Moonbase is the only person I've encountered who goes on and on about oxidation rates of oily supplements and sure, he's totally right about that. But seafood, even farm-raised grain-fed bullshit seafood, i
  15. Subject A is impossible, and Subject B is not acne-prone.
  16. It just gets worse and worse after every year until you make permanent diet/lifestyle changes. My mom is in her 40s and has severe acne..there is not a stage where it stops, it just gets worse and worse until you do something about it. Avoid the common acne triggers: wheat, soy, dairy, grains, starchy vegetables, sugar, junk. It took a lot of research but I now know the acne triggers lol...there still are some people on here that think eating oatmeal is healthy but..... they are still on h
  17. I have no idea, it's not steady at all because it depends on how my diet is like, and my diet has been changing a lot this year.

  19. Avoid starchy vegetables, grains, wheat, processed food, and dairy are the big things to avoid besides the obvious: sugar, junk food etc.
  20. I don't think anyone in history has acne, and don't trust the history books you read in school..the information isn't completely accurate, they change it based on what they want kids to learn. I think the "western diet" is the main cause of acne since everytime I go off it and eat all natural, my acne goes away soo wth am I suppost to believe? Stress?...magic monkeys running around at night giving random people acne. No. I believe in human experiences and that everything is caused by somethi
  21. If I had clear skin it would be easy to make friends because there is nothing holding me back. My skin has been the only thing holding me back from talking to people my entire life. Lets just pretend for a second that my skin was totally clear of all blemishes when I wake up one morning. Ok, well my first thought would be to jump up and down and smile the whole frgn day...but anyways, I would sign back up in college, and be not afraid to talk to every person I encounter because I would feel as i
  22. I will not lie, you are right. It seems overwhelming just by me telling you to do something that is a 180 turn. What I will say is that you're taking the right steps—starting small. Walking is still a form of exercise, and that will transition into something much more later on. This article is a pretty good read, it made me think how everyone can get to 'the big picture' by taking small steps: http://selfexceed.co...step-at-a-time/ You may not go to the gym now, but as long as you make effort to
  23. Yes. you shouldn't need 10 hours of sleep. And you need to keep as natural as possible exposure to light and dark. And artificial light doesn't cut it. It is nowhere near as bright as daylight, even on a cloudy day. Get up in the morning, go outside as much as you can, dim lights in evening and sleep at night. doesn't sunlight just cause aging though? And what is so important about needing to stay with the natural light/dark sleeping pattern? I don't really get how it can affect your healt
