    Before And After

Using Acne.Org's "Treatment" in conjunction with Tri Sprintec oral contraceptives gave me a proud, lasting outcome.

    My BFF

I have been on Tri Sprintec (which is excellent for lack of insurance) for maybe 2 years. Thanks to this pill, my skin has dramatically improved. I had light-moderate acne and would get large, deep blemishes on my back. Now I only break out on my face when (and if) I happen to miss a pill or top using The Regimen, and my back is completely clear. This had also completely cleared my forehead. This in combination with The Treatment (2.5% BP) are my go to!
  3. been lazy this month, my skin is catching up to me.

    1. It's been a while since I've posted this topic, but I wanted to give an update: Thanks to dan's BP Treatment, my skin is completely clear (see my success story on my blog) I no longer wear foundation (unless performing, then it's required), rather maybe some concealer, powder, maybe blush, and eye makeup. I'm very happy with my decision and outcome. Thanks for your feedback!

      1. I heard some people are allergic to Jojoba Oil, I'd move slowly and not try to jump into using it completely. My bottle doesnt have a dropper so I just stick my finger in a little and mix it with my moisturizer, I do this twice a day after cleansing and acne treatment. Keep in mind Jojoba Oil doesnt work for everyone, but give your skin a chance to adjust if the sideaffects aren't too bothersome. do you massage the jojoba oil onto your face? i use dan's moisturizer (which has jojoba oil in it

        An Extra Hole

So I recently got my nose pierced. It makes it difficult to do my routine sometimes, but I think I've got the hang of it. I have to use this spray about 3 times a day (though I haven't really made it priority lately. shame on me) it's called H2Ocean and it's a starile saline spray packed with enzymes and stuff. I spray it on my nose and I think it might me breaking me out. I've noticed a couple zits poppin up on my right side, which is where I have to spray.. Is that possible? Does it really

        Success!

Watch my Success Story! "These pictures don't look too severe in the video, mostly because I avoided the camera. Would you want something so inflammed and unsightly staining someone elses photograph? So I only have a few pictures of my face with breakouts. Also, I'm not wearing makeup in this video. I've suffered from moderate acne since 2005. After trying mulitiple "remedies", I discovered Dan Kern's "The Regimen": a BP based, gentle system that works. I'm not being paid for advertisin

        Fin

The reason I started this blog was because I was struggling with moderate-severe acne that wouldn't cease... I've only posted 3 entries and I'm completely clear. Isn't that fantastic? Isn't it unreal? I'm not used to feeling my face and it being smooth, no flinching or wincing. I'm not used to not having to wear makeup. I'm not used to rubbing my skin. I'm not used to looking for a zit to pick and not finding anything. I'm not used to not sheilding my face. I'm not used to taking pi
      5. Last week, I recieved the 16 oz. BP Treatment that Dan Kern developed. I only bought this step simply because I can buy his other two steps (cleanser and moisturizer) in a much cheaper setting (I.E. Walmart, FTW). I had been using Proactiv's Treatment (Step 3) because I was using up what ever I had left of this system after canceling Proactiv. I'm happy with my purchas so far. 1. The first thing I notice is the wonderful size of the tube. This is probably twice the size of Proactiv and a
      6. I promised in my previous entry that I would post my trials and tribulations in trying to heal my moderate acne. Keep in mind, I've been suffering since 2006 and I can't remember half of the things I've tried or the order I tried them in. Back then, I was also inconsistent and willing to try anything. So this is in no particular chronilogical order. In Short, What's Worked: Benzoyl Peroxide. What Hasn't: Salicylic Acid. Cleansers: -Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash (ineffective) -Biore D

        Acne VULGAR-is

I also don't have insurance, but I did just begin a birth control ( Tri-Sprintec) a little bit ago from a planned parenthood. The doctor told me my acne could get worse before it improves, I hope this won't be too bad! Thanks for the input. What ointments did your doctor prescribe? HOw bad was your acne, and did it improve at all?

        Acne VULGAR-is

I'm a 17 year old female teen who has suffered from moderate acne vulgaris (common acne with a very appropriate name) since my 6th grade of middle school. Allow me to introduce you to my skin: Salut, I live in the desert, so its 118 in the summer and often humid.. This means pore-clogging sweat and a lot of it, but I stay away from the sun and always wear sunscreen. My t-zone is oily, yet the rest of my face is normal to dry, so I have combination skin. I break out terribly on my cheeks a
