    60 Mg

I've done a horrible job of keeping up with this! But I guess that's okay seeing as it's for personal reflection once I've completed my course. Since day 33 I was bumped up yet again to 60 mg a day because my derm realized how stubborn my acne is. Well, no kidding otherwise I wouldn't be on the drug in the first place right?! My skin got reallyyyy bad and I'm not sure if it's due to the fact I messed up my birth control, got bumped up, or whattt, but it was horrible two weeks ago. I mean, I

    Day 33?

ugh, since this update my skin has regressed! Not sure if this is due to the fact I've been bumped up to 40 mg or the fact that I'm getting my period next week. Either way, I have 3 cysts on my right cheek, 2 pimples on my chin, 2 smaller pimples on my left cheek, and 1 on my neck (what the hell?!). Grrr... Can't wait for some real results!!!

    Day 33?

Sorry for lack of updates! However, not too much change has occurred. I have less cystic pimples which is nice and now my skins mostly pimples that come and go within a few days, blackheads, and closed comedones. My monthly check in went well and I've been bumped up to 40 mg so I'm hoping no extreme breakouts happen or severe side effects... We will see!
  4. So today marks my 5th day of being accutane and it was one of the most difficult scripts to get my hands on ever! But, I got it finally! My derm suggested it my last visit to her in October because I've literally tried EVERYTHING and at 22 years old, I shouldn't be dealing with this still. My skin in highschool was great with occassional pimples which I would take hands down now over my skin. College it was back and forth due to certain birth controls messing with my hormones and within the last
  5. I started using nanocleanse about a week or two ago and I've got to say I've seen a HUGE improvement... My skin this past winter went through hell with differin and epiduo and just when I had given up hope, I ordered this as a last resort. I use it both morning and night and spot treat only incoming/active pimples with epiduo and the scarring/number of pimples are decreased significantly. I can't be sure if it was just the nanocleanse because my skin was finally clearing up after laying off of t
  6. All the reviews seem promising so I just ordered myself a bottle... I've suffered from comedonal acne since I was 15 and recently started using epiduo which only made my skin HORRIBLE. I've tried to stick with it seeing as it's supposed to work, but it's now been 2 months and my skin is scarred and embarrassing. Hopefully this stuff really works! If not, comes with 100% money back. I'll let everyone know if this actually works

made skin less oily broke my skin out like CRAZY Used this along with 50 mg of doxy for my very light, comedonal acne and I deeply regret it. I heard the IB was bad, but I had none stop painful acne on my cheeks for 2 months when never in my life had I experienced such acne. I had to stop using it because I couldn't leave my house without makeup to cover the mess. The dark spots/scarring left behind are horrible too.
  8. Went back to the derm on Wednesday and told her I stopped using my differin and started using my epiduo samples. She also uped my dose of doxy to 100 mg twice a day for a month and were supposed to go from there.. I'm hoping to see a change soon because in May when I go back if things haven't, it's accutane time.
  9. My gyno also put me back on Loestrin 24 so I'm hoping that'll make some improvements as well cause my skin started acting up once I was off of it...
  10. This is kind of par for the course with a retinoid. I broke out a lot when I first started using Differin too. It's normal. What products are you using with it? I.E. moisturizer, cleanser, treatments? I currently use St ives green tea wash in the morning along with neutrogena combination skin moisturizer. I wear neutrogena's sheer mineral makeup. Then at night I was my face with the same facewash and apply my differin .1%. Should I maybe include some exfoliating at some point during the
  11. I'm terrified to try accutane and it's a last resort and seeing as so many people have said god thing about retin-a I may try that before... I'll update after my derm appt.
  12. I've been battling with blackhead/non inflamed acne since I was about 15 (I'm now 20). I've gone to multiple dermatologists and tried almost every topical treatment (taz, duac, epiduo). In the middle of December, my newest dermatologist put me on doxy and differin and told me I would have an IB. I'm now two months into this regime (stopped taking the antibiotic for other reasons) and every morning I wake up with 3/4 new pimples!!! This is so aggravating because I dealt with occasional pimples an
